I keep reading on different forums about Chidobe Awuzie being the real deal. Also, the other day I read on the Rivals forum someone talking about his leaping ability. I have been assuming the consistent hype about this guy must be grounded in some reality. I haven't seen him do anything BUT I was just watching Brooks' review of the receiver position...

Around 1:32 in the video, I saw a little guy leap what seemed like 5 feet in the air (only slight exaggeration). I was like who was that? #4 is Awuzie. I can't attest to the skillset of this guy but dude has some major hops. If he has hands-I predict a whole lot of INTs for that guy during his career.

It's amazing he doesn't break his angle on landing!

Does he also use mind bullets?
Not sure. I'll report back after saturday's scrimmage. Do they allow Yaks into Folsom? Well, technically, if he has mind bullets, he could kill a Yak that was standing on the practice fields while he was in Folsom!

Do we have a nickname for Awuzie now?

When I say "Yaks", I thought you meant "Yards after Katch."

I like "WOOZY" per BuffNut. WOOOOOOOOO...... Z! First up..... The Lambs.... Hitting the links in Vegas shortly. I be headed to (no pun) the Sports book in search of lamb stew.

i say we line him up at mlb and have him levitate over the o-line every down. that would be disruptive!

This kid could be A-Duzie!

He had a pretty impressive interception off a Wood pass in one of the practice videos too. Pretty excited to see him play this season.

Saw him yesterday at practice and he sure doesn't look like a freshman from a physical standpoint. Seems like he's ready for Pac-12 ball. Let's hope he's a good one for CU.

I'm jealous of all you guys who get to go to practices and games. I've become an AB addict to keep up with the team. Thankfully, the internet saves me-including gameday streaming.

He was running with the 1st team defense today ahead of Crawley. He looks like the real deal. Big, fast, athletic, but most importantly he look like a tough and willing tackler.

I've been impressed with the bodies on several of our freshmen. Guys like Severson, Olugbode, and Awuzie look the part.
