Buffs in the NFL: Roster Updates. Cuts

One thread to cover who is doing what in NFL Training camps. Cuts from 90 to70 this week. Not to far from the cut down to 53.
I saw Ray Polk was cut by the Jaguars. David Bakhtiari is looking like he'll be protecting the blindside of Aaron Rodgers. Brad Smith was getting some love for a sack in the last Packers pre-season game.

Toney Clemons?

Other News?

I perused CBS sports yesterday. Clemons was listed on the Jags roster, but not listed on their depth chart. Not sure what the story is re Toney.

Pericak cut by the ratbirds.

Nick Kasa had a TD the other day,

Packers cut Tavecchio, meaning Crosby survives
From what I've read, Nate Solder is becoming elite
Jimmy Smith could lose his starting CB spot
Jalil Brown might be cut
Will Pericak cut

Kasa always cracked me up the way he catches the ball... never with his hands. He always seems to use his whole body to receive it? Reminds me of a tackle catching the ball. What a big athlete though.

Pericak cut from Chargers
Ryan Miller still a FA
Toney Clemons might get called up with Malcolm Floyd injury
Nate Solder with 0 sacks/QB hurries in 132 pass plays. Boss. Pro-Bowler
Nick Kasa yet to play. Raiders starting TE Ausberry now on IR
Mason Crosby 4-4 on FG's
Brad Jones statistically one of the best Packer's defenders
Tyler Polumbus called the NFL's "worst NFL starter"
Jalil Brown worked out for the Dolphins yesterday
Justin Bannan getting pt for the Lions
Jimmy Smith "inconsistent" so far. Bad games in week 1,3

I think that's about it. Short list

Andre Gurode started at Left Guard for the Raiders last night. I didn't realize he was still in the NFL.

In addition to Bak/Packers, you forgot one of my favorite success stories: Justin Drescher for the Saints.

I think he was a substitute middle school teacher (or something like that) when he got called up, and then played his rookie year for the superbowl-winning Saints. Was reunited with the kicker and/or punter from his team at Southlake (TX) Carroll high school, IIRC.

Kind of OT but I noticed that Chris Naeole is the O-Line coach at Hawaii.

Bakhtiari has been playing very well http://www.rantsports.com/nfl/2013/...al/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
Nate Solder gave up two sacks a week ago. Still playing well otherwise
Jimmy Smith had his first INT vs Rodgers this week
Tyler Polumbus is getting trashed on twitter by Redskins fans
Nick Kasa yet to play
Lawrence Vickers/Jalil Brown/Pericak/Ryan Miller still FA's
Brad Jones held out due to hamstring injury
Mason Crosby now the Packers' favorite player. 13/14 so far this season

Wow, people here and in GB were writing obituaries on his NFL career 7 weeks ago.

I thought I saw Mason miss one in yesterday's game? Had a really weird inside out flight pattern.

He's been great out there otherwise. Glad to see him back.
