During his press conference, some reporter took a cell phone call while Mora was talking about Nick Pasquale's death and expressing his feelings. Mora handled it extremely well, imo. Better than I probably would have.

Good for coach Mora. I think he was a great get for ucla and with u$c in their downward spiral, they have a great shot to take the top spot in the South.

He handled that as well as anyone could. Well done on his part and better than I would have handled it.

I know it is his job as the face of the program but I can't think of anything harder than getting up in front of a bunch of media types to discuss losing a kid to this kind of accident. He was as composed and as open as anyone could ever ask.

The reporter or whoever it was should lose his credential and not be allowed back into the room for future access. This isn't about respect for Mora, it is about respect for a life lost and for the kids teammates, family, and friends.

I know some pro teams make reporters drop off their cell phones when they come into the room. The calling out during a press conference to scope someone was just getting ridiculous.

Hard to believe there are people out there that are such amazingly large douchebags, but then again, maybe it's not so hard to believe.

I've always liked Mora, now I like him even more.

Well done Mora. Much respect from Buff Nation. All media in this country are scum.

Absolutely, very well said.

Mora was justifiably pissed.

His reaction resonates with me and my disgust with WestBuff's inappropriate post in the Pasquale thread.

Nice move by Nebraska to wear Pasquale's number on their helmets and jerseys tomorrow.

The number for UCLA receiver Nick Pasquale – who was struck and killed by a car early Sunday in San Clemente – will be featured prominently on the field when his team takes on Nebraska.

In the Bruins' first game since the 20-year-old’s death, Pasquale’s teammates will wear emblems of his number, 36, on their jerseys when they take field against Nebraska on Saturday. Nebraska players will also have Pasquale's number on their helmets. And the team announced there will be a moment of silence before the kickoff.

Credit where credit is due...I give the cornchubs props for that move. I now feel a little queasy.....

If you listen to the video the reporter said he was sorry after making a mistake. Mora shows no forgiveness and will use this as useful against the press. Mora is a dirt bag, I know him to be.

Watch it again. Mora was justifiably pissed, and it seems to me that he was cooling his jets after the reporter apologized. Then the reporter say "go ahead," "continue" or something to that effect as though Mora was wasting the reporters' time by collecting himself. That's what really set him off (again, justifiably IMO). The reported apologized again, but it was too late. I have no problem with what Mora did. He may be a dirtbag, but in this instance, he reacted in a perfectly acceptable manner.

Shocking coming from you.

Mora probably roots for death, too. Right?
