going to be a strange week since I was getting hyped up to see the Buffs play the Fresnecks.

Big game in the media is of course Bama' and aTM and the Notre Dame love continues even though they play a pretty weak Purdue team (sorry Wally.)

Lot of missmatches this week but we get to see UCLA play the fuskers. Also have some PAC teams playing other B1G teams ASU vs. (20)Wisconsin, Cal vs. (4) tOSU, (19)UDub vs. Illinois.

Watching the Zoomies play Boise right now. Giving them a good battle on the smurf turf but I think that eventually Boise takes the game over even though AFA might grab a lead right now. AFA hasn't stopped BSU yet and I don't think AFA can score every possession.
 
CU should have recruited Awini(sp). He looks good for Airforce, would be a perfect fit for the new Pistol offence.

Good athlete but doesn't throw anywhere near as well as needed to play in the PAC.
 
He has made some really good throws against Boise State. I am watching the game right now on ESPN. He throws the ball well. The receivers have dropped about 3 balls.

It has been on in the background while I finish up work from yesterday, but I haven't heard anything. Maybe something in passing but nothing substantial.


UCLA vs. nubs - Any predictions or wishes for this game. I will be watch this, 2nd top game of the day.
 
UCLa over Nubs big. Bo Pelini taking a seat next to Mack and Mrs Kiffen on the hot seat. My prediction (if not my hope).
 
Wow!

Just flipping through channels and ended up on the Oklahoma-Tulsa game. Maybe the worst call in college football this year. Tulsa pass over the middle to the goal line called a targeting on the OU DB. Very clear that A) He struck with a shoulder, not the headgear, B)he struck in a way that was purely intended to defend against the completion of the ball that had just arrived, C) the blow was delivered to the torso, not even close to the head.

Absolutely flippin ridiculous. What are these guys, PAC/MWC refs?
 
Huskers currently pounding the ball against the Bruins in a long drive. Bruins may not be real tough on D vs a run game, which will be rough against Stanford for sure.
 
I think UCLA is highly overrated this year. They are an improving program and have some very talented players, hard not to when you have the LA area to recruit from and to. They don't have the kind of depth needed though to compete against top teams and this game is another example where they are still a bit soft on the LOS.
