7/28 update

http://colorado.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1527039

My laptop is failing hard and won't highlight text right now.. but the story basically says he thinks we were close to offering him. He has since picked up an offer to Oregon according to Rivals.

Also placed 3rd in the state with a 10.5 100 M sprint. Speed is an asset for this particular prospect.

That's the kind of athlete we need. With that size & speed, I'll take 2* prospects all day long.

10.5 100m? Sign me up. That's a full second better than a lot of the DB prospects we're looking at. If the staff thinks they can coach him up, the athletic ability is there.

Love the measurables here as well, but apparently so do the Ducks and the Beavers, so I can't say I'm overly optimistic right now.

I think we can beat out the Beavs, but yeah.. hopefully the Ducks zone in on a 4 star corner from Florida or something

10.5 100, that's more like it. Has pretty good size too.

And when our coaches get him on the strength/conditioning program that time will drop to around 9.5. Of course then we would lose him to the olympics but it's a fair trade.

Loving this guy!

"I'm thinking maybe Colorado should be offering me soon," Hughes said.

I know you cannot read to much into a photo, but the guy looks like an athlete.....and someone who probably jokes around while practicing, bringing some levity to the team. You know the guys who are intense when the ball is snapped, but helps a team be a family. That kind of player.

I think they can cut 0.5 off his time just by cutting his hair!

Was there sarcasm font here? Not sure if serious.

just watched this kid on TV. Runs like Eric Dickerson. something like 9 carries 190 yds. 2 tds. completely dominated with his speed. Looks a little skinny to me. CU coaches were in attendance.

Kid acts like he has been in endzone before...
