How is it that the PAC 12 writers can be so much better than the Big 12 writers? He doesn't sugarcoat the fact that we still have a long way to go, but he's not throwing us under the bus, either.

Maybe ESPN is smart enought to know that most of the PAC 12 fanbase are well educated, while the Big 12 fanbase mainly consists of mouth breathing rednecks.

We needed CSU and CA to get to 2-0, just sayin'.

Sure. Two teams we would have lost to last year, though. And this team needed to have its confidence built up in order for it to realize its potential. If we had started with 2 bowl-bound BCS teams, we'd probably be 0-2 right now. That's ok. Just because we couldn't beat most of those teams in early September doesn't mean we won't be able to beat them in late September, or October or November. Buffs are improving with every practice - more than most teams, I think, since they had so much to get past mentally that others didn't (defeatist attitude, new systems, etc.).

I'm excited about finally playing a game again. Seems like its been two months since we played last. Looking forward to see how we play vs Oregon State

Richmond and Santa Clara grads vs. Missouri troll Ubben with his blatant biases.

No doubt this team has made great strides. I'm really proud of and happy for them. They're finally getting good coaching. But they're making a step up in competition, something many here seem to be in denial of. (sorry, don't know how to relieve that dangling participle)
