Guess the attendance for UO

Lot of bandwagon fans now in UO's base. I hear "I've been a fan since the 80s!" Did you? Are you from Oregon? No? Did you attend UO? No? I'm sure it was nice when CU had a lot of bandwagon fans in the 90s; I know plenty of people that followed CU from the East Coast growing up.

Typically big names draw people in and it looks like UO will be playing for the BCS MNC if they can get past UDub and Stanford. Bohn used to have $20 for 8 or some other such nonsense to inflate #s and would donate tickets (not that that's bad though). We aren't sure what RG is going to do.

UCA didn't draw very well and neither did CSU, but that's because the game was in Denver (that's why I didn't drive up) and FCS teams never draw well.

The game appears hopeless and people are still recovering from the flood from what I understand.

I'm worried that if we aren't drawing well and given the state of our facilities it's going to be very difficult for Mac to recruit in his first year. Do we have any recruits coming in? If so, why?

My guess: 42K, but only because Plati is counting. In reality it'll be something like 39,230.

Good thing we aren't playing Big Red or a team that travels especially well.

I am betting a sellout or pretty close. I am sure that at least half will be green ducks though. I find it laughable that they are sending out emails asking for $60 a ticket for this disaster in the making. Frankly, even if they paid me $60/ticket, I wouldn't want to go to this thing. Nothing like wasting 6 hours + out of the day to get all depressed about where this team is.

Family weekend will always provide a boost and a solid crowd.

Plus the aforementioned UO bandwagon brigade all claiming they've been fans for 20-30 years when the reality is 2-3 years on average.

Ah, didn't know it was going to be family weekend. It used to be that this was an event, but it appears to me from the UCA game that students don't see CU as a football school anymore.

Probably about 41k but by the start of the 4th, there will be about12k still there. Sigh.

An out of state fan of Oregon since the 80's, lol. I doubt there is a single one, since Oregon sucked so bad for so long.

less then 35,000 most by the duck fans. The fastest growing fan base in the country, besides the Mannings- ooops, I meant Broncos.

I'm guessing in the high 40s, but it will be like the old days against the Nubs - just substitute green for red.

God I hate sucking.

The trees are changing, last couple of weekends for fishing, last few weekends to get yard work caught up, just sayn'

So we're going to have a lower attendance than the lowest since the late 80's that happened a few weeks ago against a FCS team?

A Saturday night game against a top 10 opponent that is exciting to watch, I expect there to be a good walkup crowd. If the weather is okay then you could see close to 50K in the stands.

I was hoping to go to this game, but I couldn't get a Saturday test moved. Sadly this means I wont get to out drink all of you at a tailgate!
