Do you mind if I share a few things about why I have always felt attracted to the Buffs program, and some of my favourite Buffs memories?

Well, we've been on a bit of a dry spell for the last seven years or so, so I, for one, am not likely to spurn your advances.

Please tell me why you find us so attractive.

I like your style CVille.

This was such an awesome game (except the final score). I bet the students would make it on time for a few Michael Westbrook roundhouses even nowadays!

Was thinking the same.... Not sure I have EVER been so fired up at a game as this one! Buffs stadium was nuthin but TENSION. WHEW, worked up just thinkin bout it :boxing:

I lost all respect I had for Westbrook at that game. Swinging his helmet like a hammer, he should have been suspended for 3-5 games.

That game got out of hand quickly. I half expected to see Brick running around with a hand grenade...

Miami precipitated that fight from the get go. From running out with that damn stork mascot mocking Ralphie to their team running over and talking **** to the student section, I knew it was just a matter of time before it was on.

As for the game itself, I agree that it was the most poorly officiated game I've ever attended in person. The Big East refs were not going to let CU win that game. CJ got ass-raped on the last pass of the game, directly in front of the official, and that prick just swallowed his whistle. The DB must have hit him a good half second before the ball got there - it was right in front of me.

As for the dude who started this thread - neg rep for getting us all excited about this thread's potential and then leaving us hanging.

Where'd the little fella go? I hope he isn't hurt or lost or something.

I love the Buffs because I love their all black Uni's. I love the Buffs because I love all of the cerebral, white, skinny, lil' guy QBs they had in the 1990's (Hessler, Detmer, et. al.). I love the Buffs because of how McCartney managed to turn the program around by thinking outside of the box and recruiting athletic, gang-bangers with attitude, from South Central Los Angeles. I love the Buffs for the way in which they managed to manufacture one of college football's greatest rivalries (with Nebraska) back in the day. I love the Buffs because of Rick Neuheisel's boyish charm and the fact that he encouraged his players to go tubing and white water rafting when other coaches would have had them sweating it up out on the practice field. "Camp Rick." I love the Buffs because of Ralphie. I love the Buffs because of Folsom Field and that one kinda weird, "ramped up" endzone. I love the Buffs because that is where Chris Fowler went to school, and I have always kinda liked him, even if he kinda does look a bit like a chimp. I love the Buffs because I have always kinda liked the state of Colorado. I like the Buffs because of their all-white uni's. I like the Buffs because the Colorado program reminds me of a clean, fresh, sleek, cool, 80's pop tune. I love the Buffs because of you guys. I love the Buffs because, much like myself, they reached their peak back in the 80's/super early 90's. I love the Buffs for the Hail Michigan back in 1994. I love the buffs for all of these reasons and more.

This appears to be, temporally, the longest setup to a troll post I have ever seen.

That guy is like wasabi. There was an initial burn, and then suddenly it was all okay.
