Kicking things off with Rutgers at Louisville.

Kind of a boring game. 'Ville is now starting to take over.

fwiw, I'm not as high on Teddy Bridgewater as all the talking heads seem to be. He looks too small to hold up in the NFL.

SDSU @ AFA kicking off in about a half hour on CBS Sports. Is that accurate? I thought that military academies weren't able to play this week?

Also, the game I'm waiting on tonight is Zona @ USC on FS1 (8:30 Mountain). Not sure I care who wins. Hopefully both look like a hot mess.

I think the academies got permission to play through October, as long as they don't take any money away from essential activities, or something like that...

Why is this stadium not a mad house and loud as hell? It's not like their team is playing for something important.

Its like they have the west side of Folsom in the entire stadium.

The rudy rutigers are making this a game.

And as I post this, Lewy is about to score....

Rutgers has 9 lives tonight.

It would serve Louisville right to lose this game.

Based on what I've seen from non-BCS programs, I have no idea why they're ranked in the Top 10 while Fresno State's in the 20s. I think Fresno would boat race them.

Don't forget that Rutgers played Fresno evenly until falling in OT. Regardless, Louisville certainly doesn't look like a top 10 team tonight.

Kiffen gone, SC still has a boatload of talent.

I don't know how much of this is the post-firing bump but they are killing Arizona right now. 14-0 and it isn't that close.

Sorry, I didn't like that roughing the passer in the SC game just now. What can ya do I guess.

You can't use your helmet to deliver a hit any more. It is what it is. I'm struggling to get used to it, though.

I can see it being to the head but the shoulder? Come on, to me, that's a little much. So much for leading with the screws lol, even to the shoulder.

SC destroying Zona.

AFA running out of gas on defense as SDSU drives toward a score to take the lead.

I take SC beating Arizona as a good sign. I haven't been holding my breath about beating SC this year -- yes, I know their issues, but I also know ours. Arizona, however, is looking more like a winnable game. Walloped 3 nobodies and now staring at 0-2 in the Pac-12. Beat Charleston Southern and we've got our chance to put our heads above water heading into November with a victory over Arizona. Huge, huge game if we head into it 3-3.

Kessler on the road is not so great.

Both are very beatable. USC destroying Zona early then having to hang on is par for the course. I was actually completely expecting it after Kiffin's dismissal. It is almost textbook that USC came out on fire after the coaching change. The emotion will soon fizzle out and they will come back to earth.

SC v UofA game has me a little more concerned than I was prior to last night. I thought both teams looked kinda weak and beatable. However, SC's OLine was blowing open huge holes and their 3/4-headed monster at RB was getting 8-10 yards on what should have been 2 at the most. Kessler showed more mobility than I remember.
UofA - concerned about the fight that they showed at the end. SC was stepping on their necks and the Cats came within a poor possession of ting it up.

That is without a doubt the dumbest thing I've ever seen in the history of dumb things.

I'm sure college kids will think it's cool.

Highly possible, especially since the coaches are just the remains of Kiffen's staff and the players are the same prima dona guys who wouldn't listen or play for Kiffen.

Don't know the exact dynamics of what was going on but how much difference will this make once the novelty and excitement of the change wears off.
