Buffalo Heart Award

Pericak is a great Buff.

Can't wait to see him become a solid 3-4 DE in the League.

That is a good call for sure. I could have seen Polk as well given what he has been through as far as injuries and change of position. But Will totally deserved it.

Congrats.

Damn glad he was honored, he played his ass off every play. Great Buff who deserved better. Good luck in the league!

bull ****. We're what, FIVE whole games into this season? Let it play out. I feel confident that a deserving winner will emerge.

Well obviously.

Besides CUD, Webb, Bonsu, Harris, and Orms, the rest are marginal players at best (3 in that group of 5 included) or walk-ons

What again is the Heart Award supposed to honor? Is it an MVP trophy or one given to the player that best represents the spirit of CU football? I thought it was more along the latter vice the former. Help me again to understand what the trophy is about.

EDIT: Answered my own question--
The annual award is for the Colorado football player who best exemplifies HEART, DETERMINATION, GRIT, and DESIRE throughout the football season.

With that said, I am sure there will be no problem coming up with a winner.

I'd vote CUD right now but there is still time in the season for things to play out.

Alright the award goes out on Saturday. Harris, CUD, or Orms imo. My vote is for Orms, battled injuries his entire career and still playing tough

Since P. Rich is going to the NFL, can't we just waive the rule the award goes to a senior?

There is no rule. It's a decision made by some fans in section 118 or so. I think it goes to Orms.
