I think some CU fans are the only people who see/saw that as some horrible cheap shot. Things way more blatant and worse happen all the time. Lesson learned for Josh there. If you want to get physical you better be able to take what comes back your way.

There's being physical and then there's being delivering a straight up cheap shot.

Bachynski planted his arm accross Josh's shoulder/neck area and shoved. Theres no elbow thrown like you like to say. Josh couldnt hang and payed the price. Post play used to look like that all the time and no one bitched about rough play.

And where did I say he threw an elbow? The bitch hooked Scott around the front of his neck, lifted his elbow up into Scott's chin, and then flopped down and pushed Scott's head down with his elbow. Go to 1:59 in the video, it's clear as day. If that's not a cheap shot to you then I'm curious what is.

Dude intentionally slammed Scott into the court. Refs totally lost control of the game well before it happened. Probably the worst-officiated game I've ever attended.

You must be joking? There were more instances throughout this game of Bachynski throwing cheap shots around. Eventually, Scott got fed up and started to push back and Bachynski took it too far. No matter how you see the play, the end result is the same. Bachynski did something that is a flagrant foul according to the rule book, no foul was called on him, and we lost our big man for the rest of the game. I don't care if it was a part of the game in the past, it's a flagrant now and Bachynski knows that. He is a dirty player.

No doubt. I'm surprised the students didn't start throwing the balls they threw to us earlier in the game. The ref talking to Tad in the video is a awful, awful ref.

I honestly was nervous that someone was going to charge the court at one point. I'm right by the student section and they were furious.

Anyone that has played basketball knows that was a cheap play!!!

For those needing a bit of solace, at the 2:01 mark, Roberson got in an incy wincy little cheapie as well.

I agree with Tini. The way scott fell, indicates some extra force in the throw. It wasn't simply falling with one another. It looks in replay like he intended to take Jelly down hard, probably didn't intend to knock him out. Should have been a flagrant 1 on ASU and the PF should not have been called on us. If they were going to call it on us it should have been during the play when they were arm checking each other. I hate that ****ing prison team. Bunch of thugs.

Look the issue with that play was the refs, they lost complete control of the game, both Scott and Bachynski should have been called for fouls early in that sequence when they were busy shoving each-other. Who got the last most devastating shot in shouldn't matter the issue is that it never should have gotten to that point, and that is squarely on the refs not on either player.

someone is seriously defending the pony tailed golem on Allbuffs? BURN HIM.
I don't look through black and gold glasses. I guarantee you non CU fans look as that video an don't see anything to crucify a guy over. Double foul in my book. Double T even then huddle with the coaches to get some control back over the game. The refs let that whole game get away from them, and I'm also not denying Bachynski used extra force, but I realize Scott was at fault too.

You sure you aren't a PAC 12 ref? It's laughable that you are defending that no-call.

I didn't realize double fouls ended with concussions.
The announcers who weren't biased clearly saw it for what it was. A dirty play that ended in us losing a key player for several games that was clearly a flagrant foul by a dirty player.

Bitch-inski is going to become very familiar with Wes Gordon this year. He won't even get a chance to tangle with Jelly.
