was really hoping both us and baylor would come in somewhere in the top 25 early, so we could have a win over a ranked opponent under our belts right away.

So we have (H=Home; A=Away):

Baylor (A)
Harvard (H)
CSU (A)
Kansas (H)
Okie Lite (N)

And then our typical PAC 12 slate that notably includes:

Arizona
UCLA
Stanford
Oregon
Washington

I know this has been written before, but our schedule is brutal this year. Kids will need to grow up quickly.

Changed thread title to hopefully piss off the players who read AllBuffs and increase the chip on their collective shoulders.

Only a few guys on the roster still who were part of the tourney game with Baylor when Canadouche went off from beyond the arc and flashed his beer goggle hand signs to the nation.

What a ****ing ****ty "shining moment." However, the remaining players are for the most part the most important ones. I'm looking at you, Mayor. Get this **** done. **** them up.

I'm okay with not being ranked. I do think we should be ranked, but am happy that we aren't. I think that it will help our players keep their heads relatively small. I wonder what else our Buffs need to do to get national respect? Sweet 16?

Whatever, after we beat Baylor and then whomever the hell we play at home that following Sunday we will be in the top 25.

I really just want to start the season with a win versus Baylor. Rankings will follow.

Win some games and we'll be ranked. Not a big deal IMO.

Certainly not a big deal. Buffs should be nothing more than between upper teens to 25th at this point IMO, but seeing some of the usuals clearly overrated gets annoying. Year after year.

Article about Harvard in USA today. They get two players back this year who were suspended last year. They are a very good team.

The only ranking that matters is who is number 1 in early April
Exactly, this stuff is media-driven. I'd rather be under-ranked than over-ranked now. As it is, this is the first year I'd say where if they didn't make the Tourney, the season would be considered a failure. I don't think you could make the same argument going into the year last year, it would've been disappointing however.
