With 20 NBA scouts in attendance, we may have Spencer for one more year. In 2015, we could lose both he and Josh Scott. Josh crushed Isiah Austin.

Wes Gordon played great. He almost had a double-double in his first college game.

Ben Mills was a net positive in his few minutes. He and Josh even played together for a few minutes.

They really can't miss that many bunnies and tip-ins again this season. If Tad Boyle had any hair left, he wouldn't tomorrow after seeing the shot chart.
 
I'm not trying to knock Spencer as I know he'll bounce back. However, I've heard a few times from Buff faithful about Spencer "not getting his dues" or being "disrespected". I feel he's received more than his fair shore of love to this point.
 
Spencer needs to be assertive the whole game, not just the last 5 minutes. He had that issue last year, hopefully it gets fixed ASAP.

We need it in the worst way. We're going to go as Spencer goes. He's got to put this team on his back at times or else we're not going to come near our potential.

He left so many potential points out there by dishing it out rather than finish at the rim and likely get some free throws. Ugh...

We will be fine though. We'll improve every game with the freshman getting more experience and the team gelling. Tough first game, I wish the UT Martin game was a few nights ago instead of Sunday to get the freshman some experience.
 
Here is one more thing. Baylor might be one of the tallest teams in the country bit we had the bodies to match them we definitely didn't look like a small team out there.
 
Happy to see only 6 turnovers, and, as has been said, Josh and Wes played well. Actually surprised we got out boarded.

Down 6 with 2.5mins left and he dribbles around and passes the ball to Askia who misses...

Exactly...why r ppl still missing this? So a lottery pick and a 7'1" player. As a team much thicker. Probably 2 better 3 ballers than our best. Vegas had baylor favored. Game was 60 miles from waco.

I don't care a out the missed bunnies or any single player. I care about our perimeter shooting. Its only one game.
