Reading between the lines here, I can't see him leaving anytime soon. You don't make this kind of commitment if you are using CU as a stepping stone. Not saying he can't leave, but this definitely decreases the odds.

It is at least another thing coach would have to consider if he were to leave.

He probably realized he was pretty safe in Boulder, the KU job is(and other "bigger" jobs are) likely out of reach for him at this point, and most of all, he's happy here. Next step, the Bill Mac, "lifetime extension."

Wow that place is amazing. And to the white cabinets, my parents just remodeled the kitchen and put in white cabinets. I was skeptical but it looks great with a dark almost black granite countertops.

IIRC, their last house had that very clean/white feature look to it when they did the b-ball selection piece from his crib. Oh, and yes, first order of business is an 80+" LCD for that wall in the basement :)

I don't hate white cabinets. I hate white cabinets in a 3+ million dollar house. The cabinets should be made out of dinosaur bone for that price.

Nice news to hear. I really hope he becomes our version of Lute Olsen.

I think I'll stay grounded on this one, cuz properties can be sold. just sayin'.

Like BehindEnemyLines said, this is a big investment. I'm not saying it can't happen, I just think he would make such a decision if he thought this was a stepping stone. Yes, anything can happen, a contract is just a piece of a paper after all that can be amended.

It is not like he moved from a 3 bedroom apartment. The guy had a pretty nice house already.

Being four houses away from my girlfriend's parents, I will be enlisting her mother to get us behind the scenes SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP.

Yeah he close to tripled his investment. If he didn't think he'd be here in 5 years, I think he would've made do with what he had, JMO.

are you married? I lived in a nice 3 bedroom house, my wife wanted a different 3 bedroom house that costs twice as much. Guess where we live now.

Trick question, she kicked you to the curb and upgraded houses and men.
