The tail end of Bo's hat nearly met the ref's nose. That was the closest thing to an ejection for Bo.

If I was a Husker fan, I'd wait at least another year or two. Just look at the new West Division in the B1G: NU, Iowa, Minny, Wisconsin, Illinois, Northwestern, and Purdue. The conference championships will come back to Lincoln sooner than later.
 
In his eee s pee n interview he was asked if he was afraid of getting fired and he said they can go ahead and fire me and I wont apologize to anybody because our record speaks for itself;
 
Wish he could stay because I loathe Nebraska football. But after that (yet another) post game gem he's gone, maybe before bowl game. Hope I'm wrong but doubt it.
 
Good news for us if Bo stays or goes.

If they fire him I don't think they are going to make a good hire to replace him.

They are no happy with their last two hires. Bo has been a dissapointment and Callahan was a disaster. The oil field corn farmers who pay the bills are not happy with either fo those hires.

There is going to be huge pressure to "go back to husker tradition" and to make a "hire inside the family." I don't see any obvious candidates who meet those requirements but that hasn't stopped them before. Could we see them stretch themselves past who they normally would to get a husker? I think it's very possible.
 
Personally I think Bo knew exactly what he was doing..... The tantrum on the ref, being a complete d bag to the halftime reporter, dropping an "S" bomb on the live post game presser and dropping the "if they want to fire me than go ahead fire me" with the nostrils flared like the aTm game. He wants to drop out with his $7 million parachute. He wants out, with a paycheck.

As far as who you get?..... Open up the checkbook. The half of the base that wants the Nebraska way to return have Scott Frost looking promising, maybe to early yet but he will be a HC within 5 years somewhere. Word is Tressel is interested for the other half of the base. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. It will not be a one man decision, there will be a board formed, a multi person panel. Either way, the longer you stick with Bo the longer things stay broke.

What? No faction wants Craig Bohl, two-time NC winner at NoDak St.??? Tressel is damaged goods and Scott Frost is a punk---similar to Major Appelwhite: all flash, no stash!

frost will be a head coach somewhere some day. His parents were both coaches, his pedigree is outstanding.... Walsh, Osborne, the walrus many others in the pros... Won a NC as a QB, got his NFL retirement as a DB, understands both sides... It may be to early now but within 5years he is a HC.
