Looking ahead to Oklahoma State

If we can beat Kansas, we can beat anybody. However, matchups will probably be much different against OSU. Basketball guys, tell me how we match up against the pokes. Any weaknesses we can exploit?

I agree with this AT HOME. I'm not entirely convinced this team can matchup with any team, anywhere. Home court advantage matters more than other sports, especially OOC.

Agreed. Okie Lite is a big game to prove we can play with the best away from home.

OSU has some excellent shooters. But they are undisciplined and sometimes they will just fire it up from anywhere at anytime. They do not have a particularly big or powerful front court - but their back court is excellent.

Take care of Elon first.

OSU is certainly beatable, especially away from Stillwater. But don't want a let down game, and it is so easy to have it happen. Hope Askia's shoulder is okay for both games.

First things first -- we already have 2 true road wins this season. In years past the close game up at ft fun, against a team treating us like their super bowl opponent, probably would have ended in a loss. Secondly, okie lite is like the Buffs squad, and most college teams for that matter, in that they're much better at home. Being held at a neutral site makes this game very intriguing.

If Ford is as much of a liability as you guys say he is, I like the Boyle/Ford matchup. Boyle will have them ready to play.

OSU's results on a neutral court this season

vs. Purdue (#92 KenPom) W 97-87
vs. Butler (#56 KenPom) W 69-67
vs. Memphis (#14 KenPom) L 68-73

Beatable team when they are away from Stillwater

CU is #34 in kenpom rankings after the KU win. Not surprising. Tadball is ugly.

Wow 11:30 on the east coast. yikes.
Yeah I just thought of that, being an east coaster myself. We're so used to things being catered for us. One thing I absolutely loved looking back was all the late night Pac-12 Tourney games in 2012 when we made the run, really added to my experience.

I really liked the Isolation pick and roll plays with Scott and Dinwiddie...we need to do this more often....If Jimmy Dykes was right and Scott is only getting 7 shots a game that is a shame. They looked good in that two man game with the one side of the floor cleared out.

Agreed that he needs more touches, but Josh is third on the team in shots. Ski is first with 113, Mayor with 78 and then Josh with 71. So it's not like he's being ignored.

True...but your post player needs 20-25 touches a game minimum with about 10-12 shots minimum IMO. Especially one with the post game Scott has

He does need more touches - just under 20% of shots come on offensive rebounds and putbacks - 13 of his 71 shots are from offense he created by grabbing a board and going back up.

Going 2-1 the rest of the way sets us up nicely for conference play. Going 3-0 sets us up nicely for Tournament play.

We should beat Elon and Georgia....Oklahoma State win would put this non-conference portion of the schedule in the tremendous category
