The No. 21 Buffaloes try for their first 10-game winning streak in 52 seasons Friday

It's amazing how low the bar is set for new milestones in this program.

Tad's going to be re-writing these record books to the point where there's going to be nothing pre-2011 on the first page before long other than some individual player performances.

Good times.

This is why we want to be ranked. We get up on the ESPN score bar on the NCAAM page. We get game previews.

It distinguishes you from other teams in college -- that's the big advantage. I've noticed when I've gone to college games, they'll put the scores up of the local and conference teams and the top 25. It would take too long to show every score. The top 25 almost always get featured on SC, other teams not necessarily the case. Even though it doesn't do much for me just to get ranked. I do realize it's a bigger deal through the sport.

In basketball the ranking itself isn't really a big deal until the final ranking. It is a big deal though when it comes to exposure, and that is why we need to hang on to it. High school kids across the nation will see our score pop up on the ticker and our highlights on SC, and our scores flash up at games. Its a big deal for recruiting and perception.

So what will we name after Tad when this is all said and done? "Boyle Court at Coors Events Center?"

He'll get the Gary Williams treatment, when Boyle makes it possible to build a new arena, he'll have the court named after him.

The Tad Boyle Skin Abscess Treatment Center at CU Denver Anschutz has a gross ring to it.

They're going to re-name the name of the game he coaches to "Basketboyle".

Would love to see CU break that 12 consecutive game winning streak...wasn't that the last time we were relevant in basketball on the national scene?

What do you mean by relevant? I think we were pretty relevant during Chengate when we were the top story in sports that day.

Good luck Buff brethren. WSU is at 10-0 right now, ready to try for 11 in Alabama tonight on ESPNU at 6 PM in your mountainous region.
