How many bowl games will you watch?

Anyone who whines about the number of bowl games gets punched in the face.

Probably not too many.

At least not like I used to.

I'll park my ass on the couch New Year's Day. Probably the national championship.

Other than that, only if the missus isn't wanting to watch tv at the time a game's on and there isn't a more interesting college hoops game on at the same time.

In prior years I have watched virtually every one of them.

This year I will be watching kids instead. Probably still watch a good number of them, maybe even most but not like before.

Probably zero, start to finish. I don't have cable and neither does my family in Portland, where I'll be for a couple of weeks. And ESPN has something like 30 of 35 bowl games.

Only ones that are must-see TV for me are the Terp and the BCS CG. And even those "must sees" aren't really, but I'd rather watch them than anything else on TV. Besides those, if nothing is better is on I'll watch. I'm guessing I'll watch somewhere in the ranger 7-10. It's great filler program.

Can't turn off CFB if it's on tv, but I'm not going to actively seek them. If I'm home and they are they'll at least be in the background. I'll park my butt for NYD and for the MNC. Other than that it's a toss up.

I normally sacrifice New Years day to the god of football and bounce back and forth between different games all day long. I usually watch at least part of the National Championship game. As far as the rest, bits and pieces of games I am intrigued by as I remember the bowl schedule.

I like to watch the ones with teams CU has a connection with (the Big 12 and PAC 12 games), plus the BCS games. Then subtract the days I ski and when family being in from out of town get in the way, and you are left with about half a dozen.

Probably about half. The reason I won't watch more are various - there's some overlap between games, family time, some are too late for my timezone, and I simply don't have much interest the games between 2 non-BCS teams such as Ball State-Ark. State, UNLV-N. Texas, Tulane-LA Lafayette, etc.

I have quite a bit of interest in the first 2 games being played (WSU-CSU and USC-Fresno) but after these 2 I'll probably watch very little until Syracuse-Minn on the 27th. From the 27th onward the schedule gets much better.

Oh, three or four.

College football is the most interesting game to me. I only follow MLB if the Rockies are doing well, NHL if the Avs are compelling, NBA if the Nuggies are hot, and so on. When if comes to Buffs football, however, I can't seem to help myself and continue to take the punishment (like reading the excessively negative asshats' posts here) associated with being so myopic. Watching other teams do relatively well just pisses me off, but I'll watch a few anyhow.

I really like the bowl games. Lots of matchups you would never see in the "regular season". I have an interest in these games for various reasons:

Washington State vs. Colorado State (ahoy)
Boise State vs. Oregon State (feels like a good game, regional)
BYU vs. Washington (two solid programs that i like, new UW coach)
Oregon vs. Texas (how humbling it will be, in the state of Texas no less)
Arizona State vs. Texas Tech (let's score some points)
Duke vs. Texas A&M (always like to watch JFF and will like to see what duke can do)
Stanford vs. Michigan State (old school football in the best venue in football, classic!)
Oklahoma vs. Alabama (two powerhouses)
Oklahoma State vs. Missouri (let's score some points version 2.0)
No. 1 Florida State vs. No. 2 Auburn (outstanding potential for an exciting and high scoring game)

:stupid:
Most of my friends have given up watching the games and just check the box score. Some will DVR it and if we win, watch it later. They wonder about my sanity and I sometimes wonder what it would be like to have such a large chunk of my life back.

My perspective is that I just like college football. My team winning or losing really doesn't change that.

Easily more than half. Every one involving the PAC12, Big 12, recent opponents, future opponents, canceled opponents (i.e. Fresno), and anything else that looks interesting. This is truly "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" for me, despite CU's drought.

I'll watch parts of a few. Doubt I'll watch any complete bowl games.

every stink'n last one of em, and I will be envious of the participants all the while

I'll keep them on in the background, and probably watch only a couple/few. Great part about working from home in Hawaii is that during the weeek they are all on eary and are great to just have on.

oh, and the year round great weather and beaches to visit during my breaks
