Poland is a mammoth OT who was a star sophomore in Arizona. Some thought he would push Andrus Peat as the state's top OL as a junior before he moved to California. La Jolla Country Day is Rashaan Salaam's alma mater and plays in the same league as Shane Dillon. Expect Poland to get looks from the entire Pac-12.

Strange one with the rating sites. Rivals doesn't even have him in the database. Scout removed his rating. 247s has him as a 4*-96, but that doesn't make sense if they haven't ranked him among the tackles (that's a top 100 overall rating). Something's weird here.

Not entirely sure what has happened here, but he has reclassified to 2014. Already has several early offers.

And then they turn around and pull a 5* from DC over Bama? That sounds a little fishy.

Maybe he wants playing time and Maryland was the leader for a long time too, so winning to him maybe isn't everything.

Poland and USC was not going to happen for awhile now. This is not a big shock. Tabor was a surprise, but Zona has been in that race for months.

Arizona is putting together a good class. They picked up a lot of Juco guys too that will help next year. PAC 12 victories are going to be hard to come by.

to put this another way, USC was no longer recruiting him and most of the West Coast schools were not recruiting him. Arizona is thought to be his own P5 offer at the moment.

I think the bigger question is how many more people can they take? They're already at 30.

Arizona pulling a 5* from across the country in football over a long list of ACC, B1G, and SEC schools is gonna raise questions

Always funny how this board comes full circle on so many issues. February 2008 seems like a lifetime ago.
