2015. I like the early instate offers going out now. We only have one or two spots left so hopefully the whole staff is working on next year.

14 CO OT Tim Lynott

If this is the right kid his dad and him are both big CU fans

Good news. Hope we can get him on board early.

He would set a nice tone to start the next class with, especially if he gets the PSU offer and sticks to us. Top notch kid from a good school, Colorado kid, has the size you are looking for.

Get this commit on the books ASAP.

CU has had issues getting early offers out to CO kids going back to Barnett. There are no excuses not to be the first offer in hand for every in-state, BCS-quality prospect. I hope this is the start of a trend.

Great that we are getting some early offers out to the in-state kids. If nothing else, they have to feel respected. CU in before CSU.

Agree. Can't plead ignorance at schools like Regis either.

I'm sure the coaches have film of Regis practices whereby Tim went up against Hasselbach on the edge from time to time. That would be useful tape to review imo.

Let's hope he and his Dad stay off those Colorado Prep boards, aka, "the board for jealous parents, and Husker fans"...

not sure how to move my last post to the beginning of the thread

You can't. Limitation of the board software. Every post in a thread is in time order. What you need to do is edit the OP to add the info. Part of the job of a Mod is to fix every lazy recruit profile that bcs does. I'll go ahead and do it.

Never been big on saying a recruit is a "must get". However, this guy might make me change my mind....love the film and hope he is a future Buff!!!

I would love it if this kid became an early commit. Set the tone just as Isaac Miller did when he became not only our first for 2014, but he was an in-state offensive linemen.

Except for the fact that Isaac Miller didn't exactly lead the charge for in-state OL to commit.

Thanks. That's actually what I was thinking, but wasn't sure if there was a better way.

Is the early offer indicative of Mac's promise to work hard in state as he did in California?

Impressive film. Most everyone he blocked ended up on their back. Really hope we get an early commitment from him. Watching Kozan in the Championship Game was painful. If we could get the next group on CO OL committs CU will be in good shape for the future.

Spoke with Tim today. He's very excited about the CU offer. He benches 310-320 and squats 440-450. Good friends with Hasselbach. His mom went to CU, which helps the Buffs' cause.

We should be signing a couple in-state OL every year.

And it's pretty clear Walters connects with recruits. Consistently mentioned in updates.

Wonder if they do any drop back passing at Regis? Would have been nice to see some pass blocking in the clips, but he certainly can put people on their backs.
