I decided to get this posted here. It still needs quite a bit of work (such as adding walk ons) and there will be a number of changes. But I thought it would be good to take a snapshot of the 2014 roster right now.

We could use some PWOs in a few key areas for sure, especially at QB, TE and maybe WR!

FYI, last I knew Murphy was still around as a FB isn't he?
Also, I still wonder if Lee might see the offensive side of the field.

And I had hoped you'd be more optimistic about Fields and already slot him in :)

I don't generally add walk-ons until the fall because they change so much from year to year. If I'd included them, you would have seen guys like Jordan Murphy, Harrison Hunter, James Carr, Andre Nichols, Josh Tupou, Ryan Moeller, Robert Orban and Wesley Christiansen.

It's actually looking like Lee will get his first crack on offense. I'd like to see HCMM add a CB to this class.

Forgot Murphy was still a walk-on and not on scholly. Regarding Lee, so I was actually right for once about how we might want to use a recruit? Wonders never cease.

I just updated. Even with not counting Bennion's scholarship during his mission, I've still got us 1 over for the current recruits we have in for 2014.

What am I missing?

the people who are leaving that we don't know about yet. relax, you got this

Lowell Williams, who plans to graduate in May, has been removed from the roster.

Normal attrition for the Spring is around 3 guys. We'll see how it shakes out.

Jaleel Awini has not been added yet, as it's unclear whether he will immediately be on scholarship. That may depend on the NCAA granting him a waiver to play in 2014 instead of sitting out a year.

Josh Ford is another that we're waiting on the NCAA to know about. He lost his freshman year due to injury and just lost his senior year to injury. He has applied for a waiver to get a 6th year and we don't know yet.

Pardon my ignorance, but I thought he'd have to sit out no matter what since he's transferring. Under what conditions could the NCAA give him a waiver to play right away? Is it because he was kicked off the team for reasons that would not have applied at a different school?

Bingo. AFA would have to provide him with a release letter to make it happen, too.

Have we heard the final say on Jack Harris?

I haven't heard anyone say that Harris even petitioned the NCAA.

I have heard that the coaches are looking at LT as a priority in terms of finding the starter.

It does not sound like Harris had much of a chance of winning a debate with the NCAA. He was available for the majority of every season except 1 (not 2).

8 scholarship freshman DE's is interesting. I'm sure some will redshirt and/or move to DT. Adding Jackson to the soph DE/DT looks better

Canty is graduating and moving on, confirmed. OP updated.

Thanks, Snow.

We're officially 1 over. It looks like we might bring in a transfer soon.

I'd assume that the 2 scholarships would be Josh Moten (graduated / medical) and Jeffrey Hall (disciplinary / legal).

This is another area of improvement,MM has very effectively managed the scholarship #s to add players .

Based on twitter WR Jurae Dilworth out of Danville, CA is a walk-on this fall

Per Ringo, who just spoke with HCMM...

Solis and Bobo should be good to go this fall.
Kafovalu has work to do, but isn't out yet.
Donta Abron ineligible. (this officially constitutes a downward spiral for him - damn)
