Inderkum Sophomore Receives PAC-12 Scholarship Offer

Inderkum High School sophomore linebacker and tight end NJ Falo was offered a full-ride scholarship by the University of Colorado this morning.

“I feel really good,” Falo said. “It was surprising and I am shocked. They told me how great of an athlete I am and how I mean the world to them.”

Even though N.J. Falo has yet to begin his junior year of high school, his size and potential caught Colorado's attention.

Not sure on this, but the "Inderkum HS College Recruiting Coordinator" says NJ Falo gave a verbal to the Buffs last night.

Sounds like CU was out there in full force this week to recruit him. I'll see if I can find anything else out.

Good find NotRingo!

Nice find Kyle. I forwarded to Adam to check out. We didn't get a #CUin15 ... but this would be a solid start to the 2015 class. Preseason #72 in CA and good size as a JR.

From Adam's interview this past June -- Outside linebacker N.J. Falo has yet to begin his junior year at Sacramento (Calif.) Inderkum, is young for his grade, and already stands 6-foot-2, 220-pounds.

Also was set to play TE, coaches are recruiting him as an athlete. Kid could definitely hit a growth spurt.

Just came thinking I was going to break the news b/c Adam did a RT on it. But you guys beat me to it by a long shot. Amazing. Can we even officially take a commitment this early? Looks like a stud!

He at least knows how to cover the read option.

Coach T was involved with Ahkello Witherspoon landing at CU FWIW

Walters is the only coach recruiting strongly. If we lose him all hell will break loose.

Hate to be a pessimist but I am not sure we should feel too confident. This is such an early commitment, especially for a non QB. On top of that in his first Rivals interview he declared his lifelong love for UCLA. If UCLA offers...

Sacramento is an untapped goldmine, imho. Over 2 million people in the Sacramento metro and it doesn't get near the attention of other California because SD, Riverside and SF-Oakland are all a lot bigger and LA dwarfs it.

Welcome aboard NJ. Great news.

When was the last time we had a commit for the following year before this years recruiting cycle ended?

That's how it is for a ton of prospects in California

Credit to Adams. Probably less than 10 Norcal recruits in the previous five years before him. We're pretty close to that in two cycles. He has basically single handedly given us a Norcal presence.

This guy is a freelance sports journalist in Sacramento, seeing if he has any connections over at Inderkum.
