Kid is big time trouble and I'd be surprised if any team, at least outside of the SEC/Florida would consider him at this stage. From an article I just read about the dude:

This is not the first time that Campbell has made news for his physical outbursts. In November, Campbell was suspended for the opening game of the upcoming 2014 season after punching a Detroit Catholic Central player in the handshake line following Cass Tech's 28-0 loss in the Division 1 state semifinals.

Might end up the starting QB in a real life version of Semi-Tough.

Kid has some real issues.

If he is already 18 he may end up getting his diploma from a prison HS. That action is likely to result in him getting some serious time. At the minimun he will be expelled.

One story said it was a misdemeanor. Can that be right ?

Well it is Detroit.

Different states have different laws. There is also a lot of leeway in terms of how they charge. I looks like the guard was not significantly hurt in the event and as you say it's Detroit. They may be charging on the lower end of the spectrum.

I know where I work that if a student did that the sherriff would charge as high up as they could and with the video tape the DA would support the charges. The kid would be spending some time behind bars and dealing with supervised probation when he gets out. His time in the regular public schools would be pretty much over.

Before it's all said and done will flip to LSU. Players will vote him back on the team, especially if the cop was an ex-marine.
