This kid reminds me a lot of Brandon Kaufman (WR from Littleton, Class of 2009, who is now in the NFL after CU passed on him due to a torn ACL his junior year). Tall, lanky and very good at going up and getting the ball.

Think White Rabbit mentioned we checked in on him this week. Definitely a player to watch.

What? Kaufman made it to the NFL?

Could his speed figure be reflective of his size? That being, it takes a little longer to get those long legs going and thus his 40 time is a little on the slower side. Is there an opportunity here to bulk up and play TE?

He could definitely bulk up to TE, but I do not think it is essential. He was a standout at the No Cal Rivals camp today. Hope we offer.

I think Duff might back off that statement after looking at the Camp MVP pic.

Heh.

Regardless of the position discussion, I think he is underrated right now. Presents our coaches with an opportunity to make an impression.

Looks like an intriguing prospect. These seems to be the type of kid MM values - the skills and/or the speed in a frame that is not yet done developing. Hope we extend the offer.

Saw he is camping with Washington at their Bay area satellite camp, so he may be open.
