Looks like the Women Buffs are having better luck than the men against a (winless in conference) Arizona team. They are up 62-45 with ~4 minutes left. Both Jen Reese and Lauren Huggins (from 3) have been on fire. The Buffs have doubled the Cats up on forcing turnovers (announcers saying recently it was 18 to 9).

And, the Buffs get the win 68-47. Good if expected result. The shooting was definitely a positive this game. The Buffs did give up 6 turnovers late. Lexy Kresl out both this and Sunday's game with a thigh injury. Speaking of Sunday, they have a tough game at 1:00 against #14 Arizona State at the Keg.

Jen Reese and Lauren Huggins killed the Wildcats. If they were open the ball went in. Huggins with 5 treys for her 15 points.

CU still has a long way to go. Too many turnovers and they aren't rebounding well. Shooting is what got it done tonight.

Article for the win now out at cubuffs.com- http://www.cubuffs.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=600&ATCLID=209385639 .l Forgot to mention above, but Brittany Wilson had a good game, with a near double double (12 points and 9 assists), and Arielle Roberson led with 10 rebounds.

Going forward, major challenge coming up in that, per the article, starting point guard Lexy Kresl is out for a month or so, joining another starting guard, Jasmine Sborov, who has been out for a few games already, and who the article says will also be out for another month or so.

After ASU, we've got Utah 2X, @ Oregon St, @ Oregon, Washington. All have losing conference records.

that's our chance to make a move and get our Pac record back under control.

Without Kresl and Sborov it's going to be tough for CU to get back to .500 in conference play. CU has struggled with leadership and rebounding in Pac-12 play so far and it's the challenge gets tougher without them.
