Colorado/Utah Basketball Score prediction thread

I would like to point out that Utah has not won a road game this year.

We lack confidence when Utah does not. They were considerably more competitive vs the AZ schools while we laid an egg vs ASU. I wouldn't be surprised by a CU victory, but am leaning towards a loss. Jmo

We always do that though, get up for Arizona and ley-eggs against ASU.

We lack confidence away from home. Just because we got killed by ASU on the road doesn't mean that we **** all over ourselves at home.

It's an opinion. Also losing to a good Utah team at home doesn't mean we sh1 t ourselves.

Sure, but you're acting like we've always been fine on the road. Even with Spencer we were a completely different team at home than we were on the road. There is a reason why winning on the road in college basketball has the worst road team win%.

And yes, losing to Utah would be ****ting our pants at home.

Last year we won like five pac road games. Were at one right now and not looking good the rest of the season. Anyways some other respected posters have the same opinion so I'm not alone

Do you remember some of those road wins?

WSU - awful game until we scored 23 in the 4th quarter
Oregon - sub-50 point game from both teams where we won because of 4th quarter defense

Or you can look at the Stanford/Cal swing last year. The point is, we've never been a good road team (I consider good over .500) and have always had a lot of struggles on the road. I'm expecting to win the USC road game, that's it. But I also don't expect to lose to teams not named Arizona at home.

Even though what you are saying has a lot of merit and I do believe winning on the road is the hardest in men's cbb than just about any other sport, the stats themselves are inflated by how many cupcake games there are.
