Dillman was offered by UCLA on Wednesday morning and the Buffs joined the fray just hours later. The 6-4, 205-pounder was 18-for-26 for 216 yards with two touchdowns as a freshman and ran for 103 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown as the backup. Dillman has also played for the USA Football Under-15 squad.

Pretty amazing that both the Buffs and Bruins offered a QB after only seeing him play limited varsity snaps as a freshman in HS. This kid must be something special.

Is it just me, or does the blue team have like 10 times as many players on the sideline as the white team?

I took Swedish in College. Maybe Embree needs to send me when it's time to make a visit.

Those are some great freshman highlights (they'd be great junior highlights).

Is it too much to ask to get some help from high school coaches, much less a former Buff?

Not sure what Moschetti is supposed to be doing in this situation to "help" CU.

It was pretty clear in that article that he is definitely not pumping up CU and is unfortunately pumping up the other schools that have offered.

Pretty clear he was working with UCLA but whatever. We need some help from high school coaches and were not getting that except from in DC.

Sitting and watching film with an assistant coach he worked with at a previous school definitely means he is working hard for UCLA. What a douche!

I am sure our coaches will visit the school the school this spring and he will talk with them extensively. Just as he will with plenty of other schools. It is what is called "building a relationship" with a high school coach. Pretty novel concept, but I hear it happens quite often. Of course, unless he is wearing CU gear 24/7, he is probably not doing enough to help us.

I agree. We nees to continue to work all connections. I tend to see this situation as us having an "in" already, which is why MM spoke with schools where he had a contact who could start the ball rolling with recuriting. We have two and a half years to convince this kid to come to CU. Maybe we need to show him some of his coach's tape from his career here in CO and give our best sales pitch.
