I think we go 4-8 in 2014

I see 5, maybe 6 wins if things break right. No better than 6 wins tho...

CSU
Mass
Hawaii
Cal?
OSU?
Utah?

I say CU gets two of the ?'s and three with some breaks.

4-8 sounds right. If they get a few breaks and an upset win, I can squint my eyes and visualize 6 wins. I hope they totally make us look like I-dots in our prognostication.

Not going to lie, the Cal game seems like it will be a loss.

Cal looks like they will be much Improved. But I can't remember the Buffs ever going completely winless in conference. If they don't beat cal, who do they beat?

5-7. Better finishing against better teams. Goal, but doable. A monster win somewhere could get us to 6 wins. Health of a few key players important as with most teams.

At least one game at home. Probably Oregon State or Utah.

Based on...?

I think they made some upgrades on their defensive coaching staff and getting guys healthy will help. We still suck on the road too. Should be a competitive game, but that is going to be a desperate team/coaching staff next year.

I think it'll be a close game as well, I think it's going to come down to coaching and in that battle I think MacIntyre wins. I could absolutely see us losing that game, but I think we pull out a win in a close one.

That defense though, I know they had injuries but wowzer, that's a big pile of **** to clean up in one year with another set of new coaches.

My #1 question with this team is LT. Are spring practices going to answer that question? I highly doubt it.

6 wins means just about everything going our way, which is highly unlikely. 4-5 wins.. at the moment

I think that Cal game holds the key. If the Buffs can go on the road and grab one... ya got something.

Close loss, rally the troops? Hopefully?

Get curb stomped... game over... the season is a bust and confidence is shot. The team wins what ever they have up to that point and maybe, maybe one more and recuriting is shot.

That is how big I think this game is.

The Mass game should be a W on a HS field in Ohio. Or it better be. The real road test comes in Conference vs Cal. Can CU shake the road woes and if not win, not get curb stomped? Be competitive until the end.

CU just can not afford to continue to go into California and just get pounded game after game after game if they want to make any sort of statement there.

They get the win, get some confidence and pull out the win at home vs OSU the next week... you're cooking with fire and looking at maybe 6 wins for the year and a bowl. Maybe.

Its a start.

Wishful thinking: 6-6 if we get the breaks and stay healthy. Sefo can't have a sophomore slump, Oline needs to improve (I too am concerned about LT) and we need to tackle better.
I really like this staff, and think they give us a shot to go bowling; but there is no margin for error next year

umass
Hawaii
CSU
3 wins from
@Cal, @Arizona, Washington, OSU,
Utah

5-7 is probably more realistic and still is moving in the right direction, which helps recruiting take a small step forward.
2016 looks to be a much better year for the Buffs. We should go 7-5, bowling and take a bigger step forward
Recruiting.

Not trying to be negative, just realistic. 3, maybe 4 wins. I think we are still a season away from significant improvement. I think our oline is going to blow again this year and then take a big step forward the next. I'm sick of losing, but can understand because we are in a real deep hole.

5-7

CSU
UMass
Hawaii
and 2 (in decreasing order off likelihood) of:
Utah
Cal
OSU
ASU
(actually if we get the last one, I think almost everyone will declare it "the breakthrough win" and allbuffs will drown in kool-aid as we shift from "hope for a bowl game" to "run for the P-12 south championship and 'good' bowl game" mode - which will be premature, because I think ASU is going to fall off pretty significantly this year)

When you have to start a post off how you did in all likelihood you are being negative. Our OL will be fine this year and we will be in a bowl game. Book it. WSU isn't anything special but they went to a bowl game in year 2 of Leech with a tougher schedule. It's not this big tough thing to get to a bowl game, ****ty coaching has held us back.

4-5 wins. (3 in non-conference with 1-2 at home in PAC12, no road wins)

LT spot is the key position. WR is second. Keeping Sefo healthy also key, which is tied to LT spot.
Cal will be improved enough to make that a likely L. Their coaches will not be on the hot-seat as their AD is in deep financial ****.

We're bowling.

It all depends on how the OL comes together. If we can get some sort of consistency and even just some mediocre play, we will be bowling. We have good talent at other positions. If the OL continues to be a dumpster fire, then 4-8 is again likely.
