Tante, I feel your pain - timezones are a PITA. Two problems here:

1. Adjusted the wrong way, which is what I think OU is getting at. Games start 1PM PT.
2. We're now in Daylight time, not standard. I advocate for using the generic "MT" instead of "MST/MDT" in these situations where the distinction isn't necessary (pet peeve).
I think you are time zone challenged. :smile2:

I like having Cal again in the second around. I'll be flying during that game, s**t -- need to figure out my DISH/Hopper app, the Pac12Network replay isn't until 2:30AM.

Let's take care of business with USC!

As much as I would have liked the 3/4 seed. We have a good chance at pulling out two more wins on the season now. We also have a pretty good time slot as far as doing other things while in Vegas.

Yeah, I think you're an hour off on the times.

Gotta say, except for seeing Arizona on our half of the bracket, I REALLY like how this bracket lays out for us. USC is the worst team in the conference, and we should be able to take care of them. As for Cal, we just lost by 1 in OT to them on their home court for their senior day - in a game we honestly had numerous opportunities to win and just didn't put them away. I like our odds with them in a neutral court. 2-1 is very realistic.

I honestly don't know how surprised I would be to see Utah in the semifinals. They have played the Cats really tough twice. An upset by Utah could lead to a CU appearance in the championship game.

We got a lot of favors during out last run to the p12 title.....Having one done for us by utah would really help this go-round

That tournament breaks out pretty nicely for the Buffs.

Beat USC, then a very winnable game against Cal.

I don't like the Buffs' chances against Arizona - but you never know, I suppose.

Pretty much agree with this. Not to get ahead of ourselves, but I see us beating SC and it not being really that close. I like our chances against Cal, I think on a neutral court in the aftermath of Saturday we beat them, but should be a good game. We'll probably lose to UofA, but it's not out of the realm of possibility that we could be competitive and somehow win that game.

what do you mean think? It is pretty obvious.

When I saw your post, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to see the game. Last night I had done the math and thought it would be at 5:30 for me on the east coast... had to check and make sure I didn't screw up the math.

Yeah this worked out quite nicely for us east coasters. I'm guessing it will actually be later than the advertised time, could even be 6 or later if it goes to OT.

My first thought is that Vegas hasn't seen Utah play lately. At least in comparison to USC.

strange.

I'm at work and can't go to gambling sites (one of many bad habits I gave up, but that's a different story)...

With Arizona at 2/3, does that mean I get the "rest of the field" at 3/1? Probably not, but even at 2/1 I'd be tempted to take the other 11 teams.
