WBB in WNIT

CU has accepted a bid to the WNIT. Games begin on the 19th. CSU is in also, so look for the Buffs and Rams to meet in the first round as the WNIT usually sets up the early round games between local schools.

Brackets will be announced sometime after 9pm tonight.

I am happy for the team, especially the seniors, that their season is not over. They have worked hard all year and deserved the post season tournament, even if it is the WNIT. It's still the post-season.

Congrats to the seniors.

And some of the young players will benefit from these extra practices and increased minutes they're getting right now due to the injuries.

First round game : TCU at Colorado on Wednesday .... time still TBA. Let's get a good crowd out to support these ladies!!

Second round has winner of this game facing winner of CSU vs Southern Utah.

Go support the Buffs so they get another home game!

Yes, I like that the underclassmen get more practices and more games under their belts.

Just bought my tickets. Season ticket holders can get their same seats if they buy today.

I like what Lappe is doing with the program. Would have of course prefered the NCAA tourney but if they can win a couple games in the NIT the experience will help.

Hopefully a bunch of you guys are planning on coming out to the CECC at 7 PM tonight to support the WBB team in their WNIT first round game vs TCU. See you there!!!!

Sucks the buffs went through that rut in the middle of the season. They have looked so much better the past few weeks.

59-59 The Buffs have now given up a 17 point 2nd half lead

That's been there modus operandi this season. Fortunately tonight they go their act together when it mattered and put TCU away down the stretch.

Could be CSU is next up - that is if they defeat Southern Utah Thursday night.
