Chane Behanan arrested for Pos. of Marijuana - Louisville, KY

I like the lone comment. They don't even know CSU exists in Kentucky.

This is the problem though. When CSU does manage to do something good nobody cares enough to pay attention, when they screw up half the country assumes it's the Buffs since there is nobody else out here that they have ever heard of or would think of with Colorado in the name.

Unless he opts out to go to rehab or pro, CSU will take him. Zero arrests+ Eustachy....

my question is - why was he arrested? isnt that stuff legal? or did he have like, a pound

ran into a (University of) Louisville dude a couple weeks ago in the hotel bar -- I remember it was the day CU beat Cal in the Pac 12 tourney. He was talking about this situation and how Eustachy's recovery and expectation of being a mentor to Behanan was part of the decision. According to that dude, Pitino really likes this kid -- helped Behanan find a spot at CSU and recommended LE as someone who had the same issues and turned it around.

Keep in mind, this is straight from a random guy I met in the hotel bar -- almost as reputable as wikipedia!

I don't want to see a guy's future cut short before he even has a chance to mature into an adult. I'm rooting for Behanan to turn things around. And CSU did seem like a good landing spot... both because of LE and also because the university has agreed to loosen a lot of restrictions in order to admit talented athletes.

I really hope it works out well. (Needless to say, except for one game next season when the Rammies can eat a bag of dicks.)

I'll address the elephant in the room. How is he supposed to rehab from the Chronic by moving to CO? Where the Kush flows like the salmon of Capistrano.

lots of people are in recovery from alcoholism while living in states where the sauce is legal. not sure this is different.

Oh, they are the same? Fooled me. Are you Mason Tvert? Amendment 64's author.

No, not the same. Weed is illegal in all states but two. Colorado has the only rec weed shops in the world. Making it much more available here. Whereas alcohol is pretty damn easy to get, everywhere.

Are you under the impression that marijuana is hard to obtain in certain states or on certain college campuses?

Haha, it did come off that way. But the fact remains that Kentucky's backwoods shwag price is equal to the price for super lemon haze here in CO. Potency and supply is much larger here and could lead to an easier relapse.

How could you possibly know this much less call it a fact?

Mildly related, but Marcus Holt (JR Forward) and David Cohn (FR Guard) are both transferring out of FoCo
