The new rule would allow walk-ons to receive the same allowances and would allow schools to provide more meals and snacks, too.
So, when do we get these back?
2007-Colorado was placed on two years' probation and fined $100,000 by the NCAA on Thursday for inadvertently undercharging 133 athletes for meals totaling $61,700 over six academic years. The school also was ordered to cut one football scholarship for the next three seasons.

Already looking forward to the next NCAA recruiting scandal where we find out that an SEC school gave an athlete $400K worth of "snacks".

You see there was this booster who sold foil packaging to snickers and granola companies...

who donated and agreed to supply one vending machine to campus in a location of his choosing...

and took some of his inventory and filed those snicker bar packages up with $100 bills...

Roll Tide.

NCAA got this right... finally.

It's amazing that it's actually news that scholarship athletes can be fed as much and as often as they want to eat.

Players will make a killing at CU selling munchies on the black market.
