Justin Solis

Last day of finals for the spring semester is May 8. That will probably be the earliest anyone can confirm how any of the players did and what that means for their status going forward.

Solis would be a monster loss. We need to go 4 deep at DT and are only 2 deep right now. Kafovalu is very disruptive when he actually plays. Of all the players on the roster, he has the most returning sacks, and in minimal playing time

I hope he is able to pull it out...most likely he will have to bust his hump in summer school as well.

He looked pretty good at the end of last year. Really hope he can get it together. Hell we need both of these guys bad. Hell we need pretty much every decent player on our roster bad...

I'll wait until after finals to do my happy dance, but this is certainly good news.

Need them to get it done in the classroom and finish strong. So much of a waste if they do not. Such a great help if they do. Come on guys, get er done!

Ringo said in chat today and he believed Solis was in good shape for being eligible for fall. Sounded like Kofavalu still had work to do this summer.

I wouldn't trust Ringo as far as I could throw him with anything regarding CU

That's the word going around.

Would not shock me if Samson needed to redshirt even if can stay enrolled. Obviously hoping for the best.

Solis needed to focus; Samson needed to continue to learn how to learn, starting with basic reading and writing in English at least at 10th grade level. Not a criticism of the kid, he's a typical victim of the public school, union-run monopoly on education----bad education, from a household where English isn't the first language. Exactly the kind of kid who needs to stay in school for his own long-term benefit, unless he wants to duplicate Micheal Dean Perry's illustrious post-football career as a baggage handler!

Oh, Michael Dean Perry. For a second, I was nervous that you were going to say Michael Sam!

MIchael Dean Perry is not a baggage handler. He graduated from Clemson and is now in business for himself
