Assistant coaches are out on the road through the end of May and we are seeing several new offers go out each week. Expect more offers and camp invites to go out before the Spring Evaluation Period ends. Here is a list of players who might be the next to receive offers. They are not really under the radar, but are not necessarily blue chip caliber players either.
Ben Burr-Kirven (Atherton, CA): Small school star out of the Bay area who is being evaluated by most PAC-12 schools and has a handful of offers. Plays both ways, but his future is likely at LB. Looks undersized in highlights, but also looks fast.

Cole Smith (Mission Viejo, CA): The Buffs signed two players from traditional Orange County power Mission Viejo in the 2014 class, so it is a good bet they are evaluating Smith as well. Smith's father was a Pro Bowl player in the NFL and also an OL coach at USC, so the bloodlines are there. He played his junior season at 250 pounds, so that might be why some teams have not jumped into the fray.

James Williams (Burbank, CA): Williams had a monster junior season with over 1,400 yards rushing to go with 22 TDs. He also had seven total TDs as a receiver and as a kick returner. While the competition is not as high as some other areas of southern California, he has three early PAC-12 offers and should be in line to receive more.
Terrence Johnson (Vail, AZ): Johnson is a two-sport standout from the Tucson area. He was an all-area selection as a DB in football and averaged 14 points a game on the hardwood. He already has an offer from Arizona and we are scheduled to stop by his school at some point during the evaluation period.

Willliam Lockett (Manvel, TX): Lockett was an all-district selection at CB in the Houston area as a junior. Andy LaRussa from the Buffs staff stopped by Manvel High last week, so Lockett is likely on the staff's radar now. He has a handful of BCS offers early and will likely receive more before the end of the month.

Dominic Desouza (San Francisco, CA): Massive OT from the JUCO ranks in the Bay area at City College of San Francisco. His recruitment has started to take off in recent weeks with multiple BCS schools extending offers. Looks to be a classic "late bloomer" as he received very little recruiting attention out of high school in the Bay area. Given the west coast ties, the PAC-12 could be very appealing to him.

Miki Fifita (Wailuku, HI): OT out of the Aloha State who has a couple early PAC-12 offers. The Buffs have been in contact for a couple months. Looks really raw on tape, but definitely looks to have the size of a quality PAC-12 OT.

Angelo Garbutt (Carrollton, TX): Garbutt has received light attention thus far, but he plays for a solid program in the Metroplex and the competition is legit. He was an all-district selection as a junior and 247 mentioned him as one of the standouts at the Dallas Nike Camp.
Drury Samia Jr. (Danville, CA): Samia Jr. is a Bay area standout with three early PAC-12 offers. Have not found highlights or much info on him, but very likely Samia Jr. is on the coaches' radar because they know the school.
Shalom Luani (San Francisco): Another City College star with early BCS offers. Originally from America Samoa, he seems to be another "late bloomer" who could help out the Buffs immediately in 2015. He has the size the coaches covet at safety and has playmaking ability, highlighted by his seven interceptions in 2013. His highlight tape looks really good IMO.
