Based on some of the calls we saw last year I don't know if you would call it a "loss."

Seems like most of the PAC officials are losers every time they call a game.

I figured that would be the response, but if the guys they lost were their first choice as officials, how bad are these next people going to be?

Not all of the refs were bad. Much like in life, the good ones left (or those with connections) and the ones who didn't have any options stayed.

And these 4 will be replaced with some refs with less experience.

Other than the retirement, this is not a good thing. If they got promoted to the NFL, then they were the good ones.

Such huge losers, that they got promoted. Makes complete sense.

I'm going glass half full on this one. It is a good sign for what the league is doing to develop the refs if the most were chosen of any conference from the Pac12. This is despite the "fact" that Pac 12 refs are poor.

It may be true this next year could be done a bit as they replace those 4, but a good sign for the program overall.
