Twitter is abuzz with news that a major recruiting scandal is ready to hit the swamp.

Might a certain quarterback we are recruiting be back on the market?

Any idea if this involves Urban Meyer?

The NCAA will probably hit them hard...no TV for their game against The Citadel.

This is all the new staff under Muschamp. Recall their Recruiting Coordinator abruptly resigned last week. Will Muschamp might be lucky to make it to August.

Joker was just the first shoe to drop.

I am assuming that if this went back to Urban that we would have heard rumblings before now and that Joker wouldn't have "made the decision" to resign.

I suppose this could be from something 4 years old, but it doesn't have that feel at this early stage in the process.

Need to recruit a special kind of kid who can effectively block the opponent and his own temmates.

I've seen two bits of speculation online.

One was that it was the University of Miami that blew the whistle on Florida. The other is that it was Urban Meyer who turned them in.

If either is true, it the irony and hypocrisy of either of those being the white knight for the NCAA would be too funny. If both were behind the allegations, I may laugh hard enough to rupture my spleen.

Wouldn't take that bet, don't want to lose my money.

Virtually every NCAA investigation starts with somebody turning in somebody, 99% of the time it is somebody with a vested interest in the NCAA penalizing the school that is reported.

And yes who knows about cheating more than Miami or Urban and tOSU? (Other than the former members of the SWC which goes without saying)

Bruce Pearl doesn't get your sense of humor.

Is the recruiting scandal coming this year? Or some time in the future?

They will use the Miami technique.

Delay, delay, delay, delay, the investigation then have the NCAA let them off because they didn't act soon enough.

Meanwhile if they were Florida Atlantic or Central Florida they would be getting close to the deal penalty.

oh, oh, oh....I'll take the deal penalty please. "What? Got caught cheating and no sanctions coming your way? What a deal!"
