Buffs offered per one of Chaparral's coaches. Lists a 4.45 40 on DarrienMolton.com, but can't find that anywhere else. CU is the third Pac-12 team to offer.

"Darrien is a great kid and athlete and always practices and trains with a purpose. He is a fierce competitor that is not afraid of competition and is extremely dedicated to being the best he can be both academically and athletically. Darrien has great field awareness and is a big time play maker." -- Ryan Tukua, Chaparral head coach, from Darrien's website above

Spoke with Darrien a few minutes ago. CU offered three weeks ago when Andy LaRussa was in the Chaparral area. Molton is hitting up a Rivals camp this weekend and is open to playing for any college, but he said he'd probably end up in the Pac-12 right now since that's where his three offers are from. He said he liked the idea of going out of state for college, loves playing defense, corner, likes to shut down the other team's main receiver. We talked about a game last season where Chaparral held CU target Jamie Nunley's Vista Murrieta to one catch, but lost 41-5, three defensive touchdowns. Molton is looking to go into something in the mathematics realm in college. Chaparral will be a team to watch next season with Molton and linebacker Malik Lawal on defense.

WSU over CU?!? :wow:

Yikes

Not saying it was the case with this guy, but there are always going to be a % of CA/OR/WA kids who are never going to consider a school that's not a PAC 12 CA/OR/WA school. That's life in the PAC 12. Double :wow::wow:
