Coaches recently visited with Petite and the Buffaloes are getting more involved but no offer yet. The 2015 prospect hopes his recruitment picks up even more heading into this off-season.

"Colorado came by two weeks ago with their head coach and tight ends coach," Petite said. "We didn't go in-depth because they said they couldn't really talk to me but they wanted to see me in person and pretty much say hello.

Until somebody proves otherwise we still have a big gaping hole at TE. Highlights look like a kid who could be a big threat in the middle of the field. Looks like an agile athlete, adjust well to the ball and catches with his hands. Also looks to have the frame to put on more weight without losing his athleticism.

Spoke with Tyler. He called from LAX, heading down to USC for a visit this weekend. He lived outside of Denver for a year (eighth grade) but moved back to California. He said one of his best friends goes to CU and he wouldn't mind going to school with him. He wants to get into business or something related to stocks, which is what his father does. He said he picked up 50 Cal/USC followers on Twitter during his short flight, which he pointed out is kind of weird.

Definitely wants to play in the Pac-12, said he doesn't have a front runner, but obviously he'll have his pick of conference schools. Said he consistently runs a 4.6 and the 4.59 was his best performance. Doesn't mind blocking and loves to play tight end.

If you guys are not repping NKR, you should be.

Outside of Jalen Cope-Fitzpatrick, Petite is as good an all-around TE connected to CU I have seen in a while.

Glad to hear he visited yesterday. One of the better we are recruiting at any position.

There are plenty of people that are smart but with poor taste.

USC missed on both Petite and Hudson

Did USC offer Hudson? I thought he basically said USC was his dream school but no offer from them. I think they were trying to get in on Alize Jones, but he seems to be sticking with UCLA. Wisconsin might want to worry with Kyle Pennison.
