He'd definitely be a great get. I believe I read somewhere that he's either a Stanford or Cal legacy, unfortunately.

Hopefully Cal. Dykes isn't exactly popular right now.

Sorry for the bad news, but his mom and dad met while student-athletes at Stanford. She in volleyball, he in football. Hopefully, he wants to chart his own course in life at CU.

I still have to sit down with my coach and my dad and kind of narrow things down," Humphreys said. "I'm not (committing) until January. I'm going to take visits and do all that. I was maybe going to do an early decision and then I just recently decided not to. So that's where I'm at right now. I'm going to go through the process and see what happens."

Massive Stanford lean if they offer, but they haven't so far and he won't be deciding for awhile. Hopefully we can get in on him, he'd be a great get.

It's very uncommon for Bay Area kids to go East, unless it is an Ivy League school. Maybe 1% of my graduating class went somewhere East of the Mississippi.

I realize this, but the point remains. Great academic schools can pull from anywhere when they have things going. We'll see if Cutcliffe can hold on to the class but he's killing it right now.
