Cassell has confirmed to Scout that he will be camping with CU this summer. http://recruiting.scout.com/2/968325.html

Based on how his recruiting has taken off, he looks like he'd be a very nice get at OLB for us this cycle. Always good players coming from Lakewood, too.

Cassell picked up an offer from Florida and quickly accepted.

Florida didn't accept Cassell's commitment. They have a rule that a prospect must have both visited the campus and spoken with Urban Meyer before any verbal will be accepted by the Gators. He'd done neither. I guess we'll see.

Florida is no longer in the mix. CU's got a shot here. Got to hope Oregon doesn't offer. Need to get our visit scheduled.

Definitely claiming an Oregon offer (had been some disagreement between Scout and Rivals on this one).

Rivals reports that Oregon and Arizona State are the leaders.

any recruit we dont get is hawkins fault in ITBs eyes... he is wearing **** covered glasses and its smeared on there really well

Left Oregon today. I don't know if he was going to be a starter, but I hear that they may now have depth issues at ILB

Got busted for a DUI a couple months ago. Knowing how it is to be in college and in your early 20s, that could mean close to nothing about him or it could point to larger problems.

Oregon's definitely got some holes this year. They've also got some special players, winning culture, tons of team speed and possibly college football's best quarterback. They'll win 10+.

Their schedule is pretty favorable too. Outside of the trip to UCLA, they play Mich St, Arizona, Washington, and Stanford at home.
