WTF where did this come from? We don't even have a profile on this guy and no CUin15.

I wouldn't believe it except Adam just confirmed it.

Commitment No. 8 for #CUBuffs football comes from Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial DT Brett Tonz. Just interviewed him... story coming shortly ...

Rivals profile says he is a 6'3" Guard from Peoria AZ

2 star. Listed offers include Air Force, Colorado, and UC Davis

Brett, by the way, WELCOME to the BUFFs. You made a good choice! We are all just waiting to learn more about you. As posted above, Adam to have a story soon.

Talked to him last week when he got his offer and spaced on typing up the interview. Good kid. Put his quotes on the thread on BuffStampede if you have a subscription. http://bit.ly/1lZjCwJ

Arizona and Arizona State like him on the offensive line, but want to see senior film. His grandfather was an offensive lineman at UofA and his father walked on there.

Welcome!

My guess is that he'll get a shot at DT and end up as a much needed nasty guard!

Big, Strong, Athletic enough to play DE in high school. Would not surprise me if we were fighting teams off at signing day for this kid.

Welcome the to Buffs!

Not sure how accurate his Rivals profile is. Looks like he has never played OG (was a DE last year) and supposedly was recruited as a DT.

He's raw. Plays way too high. Also takes a false step at the snap a lot of the time that slows his get off. On the positive side, he's got a great body for DT. Great height for the position while also having a very solid base. Good athlete who runs well for the position. Most impressive thing to me is his hands. Does a great job for a HS player with his hand fighting to keep guys off him, beat blocks and gain leverage.

I can see why the coaches could have come away from seeing him at our Redlands camp and believing this is someone with a great deal of potential.
