New Buffs social media site

I'm curious to know how there funded? If maybe some alumni are behind this or maybe even netbuffs? I noticed at the bottom of the page that their sources are not near as competent as what gets posted here.

is this what they call "new media?" a tweet from some rave in San Fran next to a story about shingles, a tweet about CU's latest commit and an old man left at the hospital.

looks like they plan to be a for profit entity, they are boulder based and have a number of positions listed on their site which rules out SportsWar who owns NB and is east-coast based (also not interested in this type of venture). Once you nailed the architecture nd content for 1 school syndicating would be easy.

They launched this week.

Interesting. Most of the page is filled with social media posts related to the Buffs. You can look at everything or filter by Tweets, Instagrams or whatnot. Good amount of original content, too.

There's Part I of their interview with Rick George on there now.

I'm going to bookmark this site and see how it goes.

It's almost like a student run news channel for campus, except it's technically unaffiliated so they can do whatever they want, is my impression.
