Hat tip to Goose on this one but apparently the FOur Seasons down town is going to light up the spire in the colors of which ever school shares their helmet image the most. we are currently down about 400 to little brother.

The process to vote is fairly simple, login to FB.

Go Here: https://www.facebook.com/fox31denver

Click on the CU helmet image which will pop it up in a new window. Do not share the whole post like 300 other idiots did.

Share that image on your timeline.

If any of you post on reddit can you cross post this there?

The building has been Green for three nights in a row.

yes many of us found out about this today, and most are having a hard time mustering up the will to care. We'll have 40k fans at the game, you'll have 15k just like the last 3 years.

I say let them win it, that way all year when they point out you can say "oh, yeah, what was the score again?"

They mean well and after this weekend they are my Broncos buddies.

Stink palm 'em before the game tomorrow and we'll call it even.

This has been on the news all week. Obviously you don't follow the news that closely, or you would have heard how CSU has now sold over 30,000 tickets as of this afternoon.

Attendance is going to be over 70,000 and you've more than doubled what you usually bring?

ramU I must have missed that, did your Athletic Director announce the number?

Hells no. The AD (if they had one) would be yelling from the rooftops about that many tix being sold.

Also, BVP proves himself and ramnation to be the ultimate little brother in this wonderful piece:

Stephens: CSU needs Van Pelt attitude in Rocky Mountain Showdown

...

Few remember Van Pelt holds the CSU record for the most yards of total offense in a career (8,579) or that he was the two-time Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year. That one play 12 years ago defined his career, and he is more than OK it, because that head spike was exactly what Ram nation needed and is desperately searching for again today.

Who's ready to bring a little fire back to the Rocky Mountain Showdown?

"I live with it because after so many people told me what it meant to them and how excited they were — in particular the CSU fans — I kind of realized that there was this pent up frustration and emotion in CSU fans and they didn't know how to let it get out," Van Pelt said. "But that one play seemed to be exactly what a lot people wanted to see. That's how we need to play, that's how we need to look at CU. Not as the larger brother, but as equals."

That number was mentioned on ramnation by someone who said they asked the ticket office while placing an order and the office replied almost/near/something like that 30K. I imagine it's optimistic but I do anticipate a larger crowd this year than the last few.
