Trying to find a silver lining. Shay looked good. He was focused, had great hands and was elusive at times. I am excited to see him grow this season and over the next few years.

I think we'll like our starting WRs with Fields and Spruce in 2015. Like most freshmen, he'll have his ups and downs this year. Even P-Rich was very inconsistent as a freshman and he was a truly elite talent.

If he blossoms, does he stay for this **** show? Didn't he have other options?

I'm just saying he was stationary and had to make plays, which he did. Get the guy the ball on the move in space.

it seemed like he only ran comeback routes
That is all we ran. 8 yard curls all effing game long.
Zone read up the middle for no or minimal gain twice then curl it up.
Fields will be a stud, unfortunately his OC is utter ****.

Shay was most impressive as a true freshman in last nights game. Shay is the real deal. OC needs to utilize this talent if he can evaluate the film, which hopefully he can.

BTW, would be ok if our OC stuck with something that was working, instead of trying to make something work that is not successful. Like the success we had throwing to our TE for example.

Hell, the Ram kid from Alabama ran home to Alabama and back again because our D-line could not stop him. We might want to try and learn something from the Rams accomplishments last night.
