Who's coming to Beantown?

I'm in plus 4. Arriving Thursday, sightseeing Friday then the game on Saturday. Flying in and relying on public transportation and the CU shuttle for getting around, so am relying on the Putnam Club thing for tailgating. So no smoked delicacies from the Traeger will make it to Boston for this one - sorry, Rugged !

Looking forward to running into a herd of Buff faithful up there.

Mrs. FlaBuff and I are flying in Thursday night, antiquing Friday then riding the Boston Buffs shuttle to the game. also doing the alumni association tailgate. staying at the Holiday inn in Sommervile, set up by the Boston Buffs. The Allbuffs secret password is "Brocktoon."

In +9. Will be setting up in the lot around 10a. Probably skipping the alumni tailgate in favor of beers and BBQ tailgating. If anyone is interested in swinging by for a beer let me know.

We're going to be crossing paths a lot.

In x2, Providence on Fri/Sat then Boston through the following week. Guys need the support now more than ever--stay true, Buff Nation!

right on Mass Ave. i lived a couple blocks from there one summer in Somerville. taking the redline to Cambridge. if it's still there, Pizza Stork was awesome, greasy delivery pizza. Real italian neighborhood pizza pie. also a really awesome sandwich place across Mass Ave from the redline stop. can't think of the name.

In. Meeting up with my freshman roommate. We'll probably do the alumni thing on Friday night and take the bus to the tailgate.

I will be there +3 ... and will have a CU at the Game mousepad to give to anyone who comes up and announces themselves to be from AllBuffs.
(I'm easy to spot - 6'4", and wearing a CU at the Game hat) :shakehands:

In +1. Arriving on Thursday, touring Cape Cod on Friday - so probably won't make the Happy Hour. Staying at Comfort Inn in Foxboro. Also heading up to Acadia National Park, then back to Boston for a Sawks game next week. Looking forward to my first visit to Boston, and, of course, a big Buffs victory.

Is SueEllen coming too?

Missing the alumni gig Friday as we have the young ones with us, plus we are going to check off a bucket list activity and to the the Sox game that evening.

Sue Ellen is watching our sweet little Petri dish. There is a chance my buddy and I may hit Fenway instead.

Giving out multiple mouse pads or just one?

in + my wife. we are staying in providence as I will actually be there for work this week. trying to figure out if we will go to the alumni association pre game or look for a tailgate. what is everyone doing pre game?

Keeping our East of the Mississippi promise again this year. OU & Hawt +4. Staying a little out of town and knocking around Boston followed by Fenway bleachers on Friday.

Heading south after the game, overnight in CT prior to the drive back to VaBch.

I'll be there +1 or possibly +4. Arriving Friday afternoon. Still debating on staying near Foxboro or Boston.

Philly is in with my 2 boys. Staying at the Providence Hotel or The Renaissance in Foxboro..... Undecided as of now. I am painting my kids faces and not telling my wife.

Since we're on the roll call thread now, figured I'd bring the shuttle info over here if anybody still needs a ride from downtown Beantown to the game and back.

In talking with the chapter president, there are still 17 seats open for the final shuttle to the game (don't believe the site through the university that they are sold out, there are still spots on the 4th shuttle). The shuttle will leave from North Star Bar around 10:30-11 and get to Gillette in time for the Alumni Pre-Game in the Putnam Club that starts at 12.
Here are all the links to get the shuttle tickets, also one for an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet at the North Star before the shuttles depart:
There are two options:
Shuttle ONLY - $25 - purchase your Shuttle ONLY passes here

Shuttle + Breakfast BUFFet - $37.50 - purchase your Shuttle + BUFFet passes here
and
I have update the Facebook page - Boston Forever Buffs, the group - CU Buffs in Boston, posted in the BUFF BASH Friday night event and in the NYC chapter's event for the CU vs. UMass weekend. As for non-facebook I update the Chapter website, I will send a tweet about it Monday AM and posted on Craigslist (http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/tix/4646630069.html).

The site for events is: http://alumni.colorado.edu/2014/07/10/cu-umass/
If you then click on the window in the upper right for more information, it will take you to the additional site to buy the shuttle tickets and breakfast.

Apologies for posting so much about this, but the chapter president has gone above and beyond the call here with this shuttle. If those last 17 seats aren't filled, they take the money bath as they had to pay for/guarantee the entire 25 seats up front. As a former chapter president, I know that money bath pain from being down $$$ for the "Rogue Tailgate" in Austin back in 2009, and don't want another Buff to feel that pain.

Flying into NYC for a day at the Met on Thursday. Friday with family in CT . Be there +3 on Saturday. Spending the night in MA and returning to CT on Sunday

I've lived in Boston the last 7 years and have had this game marked on my calendar since it was announced a couple years ago. Fast Forward to March 2014 and the lady and I booked a trip to Italy for our 5 year anniversary. I'll be G@d damned if I didn't book it to leave September 5th without realizing it for a few weeks. I'm out unfortunately. I can't believe my Buffs are flying across the country and I'm going to miss it.

We got to see our Buffs Basketball team play @ Harvard a couple years ago but this would have been cool. Oh well, maybe a BC home and home is in our future.

I'm in +6. Driving from the Berkshires Saturday and returning after the game. This will be my first Buffs game since Nebraska in 1991! I know it won't be as cold and it won't end in a tie.
