Reported Offers: COLORADO, Boise State, Cal, Nevada, Utah, Washington, Washington State

Since KyleM reported on CU stepping up with the 1st offer, Pounds has added Boise State and Wazzu.

"My top five, not in order though, [are] UCLA, Colorado, Oregon State, Boise State and Washington State," he said. "UCLA, that is my dream school. … Lately they have been showing a lot of interest. I have been talking to [Bruins running backs] coach [Kennedy] Polamalu a lot."

Think we're in a good spot here assuming UCLA doesn't offer. (they only have about 12 spots this year)

New Rivals article with his favorites. Seems like CU has been the longest and most consistent relationship during his recruitment.

"I know I'm going to take three for sure. I don't know if I'm going to take all five but I probably will. I know I'm going to Washington, Colorado and Boise State. I'm still trying to work out my schedule and see their schedule and figure out when I can go.

great news. Starting to see a consistent trend upwards in recruiting now the team just has to confirm that upward tick on the field.

Visiting CU Oct. 3 per the dudes at 247 Washington site (also a top four of Boise, CU, Cal, Washington ... no order) ... Washington 247 guy also crystal balled Pounds to the Huskies FWIW.

While that is entirely possible, Lars tends to crystal ball EVERYONE to Washington. I think all four schools are still in this one and it is going to be close.

My impression is that all the 247 guys "crystal ball" to the school they cover. Then, when they hear some inside info that the guy's about to commit they all change their vote so they end up being correct.

I've noticed the same tendency. The crystal ball thing is entertaining and it's fun to see one of the writers flip to your school, but I think it's predictive power can be pretty questionable at times.

In the short term, the three-star is most focused on his trips to Washington and Colorado and then making his decision on October 29.

"I'm going to Washington next weekend," Pounds said.

"I can't wait to be up there and Colorado, too. I can't wait to go visit and see how it is. I haven't been to Washington yet so it will be cool to see how the city is and how everything around there is. I'm excited about those trips."

he liked Boise more than he thought. Sounds like he's excited to see the P12 schools though. Cal making a push.

Very excited for Pounds.

This defense is building, but depth is an issue. Need guys like Pounds to take things where they need to be. Could play early.

On his way to CU. Seems to be pretty excited, hopefully he enjoys his trip and gets to see a CU Conference win.
