UMASS up 14-0 on Vandy. They'll give some people trouble this year, although admittedly still not a very good team. Just beating up on the P5 weaklings so far.

Go Minutemen! An sec team loss to them and a pac-12 win is good for the conference power rankings.
 
Go UMASS! Vandy may suck, but they should handle UMASS at home. Maybe UMASS could be improving under their new coach, and CU beat a better team on the road than we are giving them credit for.

VT always doing that weird thing where they have a bad OOC game or two and everyone thinks Beamer's past his prime, then play lights out in every other game. They were impressive in their first two and I bet their defense and special teams get them something in this one. Just weird because I can never tell if they're for real or if the run of success is over. Hokiedude may know what's up with that but they've been one of the most confusing teams of the last decade for me. Their schedule the rest of the way is horribly weak too.
 
All I gotta say is, if ECU can go into Blacksburg and destroy VTech like that, CU should be able to beat somebody!!!

Well, for the past 2 seasons, there have been signs that VT may very well be declining. VT has not been what they were, they were 4-6 at one point in 2012. This year they have the most favorable schedule ever and plucked a graduate transfer QB. It's just a question of whether they're going to return to what they have been, or if this is all combining to sort of mask their decline and be an aberration for a season. There's a good chance that win at the Horseshoe won't look nearly as impressive later in the season.

UVA up 17-7 on #21 Louisville early in 3rd. Looking for first ACC win since Nov 2012 and first FBS win since BYU in August 2013.
 
Wyoming OL doing very good vs Oregon so far. Maybe we hire their OL coach. Early in the game, of course.
 
VaTech having a hard time vs ECU. Doesn't look like the team that beat the buckeyes last week.
 
Pitt up on FIU 22-16 now after being down 16-0 at one point. Game is in a delay right now, not sure what for.

Syracuse looking good and also taking advantage of some CMU turnovers, up 33-3 early in the 4th.

Surprised Pitt is struggling this much. Looked solid last week blowing out BC in Chestnut Hill.

Also surprised to see Cuse up 30. Central Michigan blew Purdue's doors off last week in West Lafayette and Cuse has been struggling, needing multiple OT to beat FCS Villanova.
 
Yea I was worried about Cuse going to CMU today, but keep in mind that Hunt got tossed in the first half of that Nova game for throwing a punch

I didn't realize that KU was at Duke today. Is basketball starting early?

Hoos up 20-7 now. Virginia's D has been completely owning Louisville.
 
Georgia Southern up on GT early in the 4th after being down 35-10 at one point.

VT just blew a huge chance to make this a game, they had a first and goal from the 9 and didn't score. Still plenty of time left but VT needs to get some offense going.
 
VA Tech stopped inside the ECU 10.

Pirates defense needs some rest, though. Offense needs to get them a couple first downs and reverse field position if they want to close this thing out.
 
In other P5 doormat games, Indiana is trading blows with Bowling Green. Plenty of lead changes here. Hoosiers just went up 35-32, 13 minutes left in the game.
 
Kickoff for the Georgia-South Carolina game will be delayed by weather. It was supposed to start at 3:30 Eastern
