Like most bigs his age, it looks like he needs to improve his assertiveness and bulk up, but the skills are there. From his ESPN scouting report:

Strengths:
Comanche is very long and he may be a future 7-footer someday. His feel for the game (solid passer) and post game have improved. In addition, he is getting much more explosive as well. In the half court set he play the high post and deliver the nice pass to would-be cutters. In addition, he has an nice touch in the paint area. He can finish quite well in transition for a young big man and will only get better with strength.

Weaknesses:

Comanche needs to improve his assertiveness at both ends to take his game to another level. There are many times he has opportunities to score, but he plays with too much hesitation. He needs to continue to improve his balance (bend knees and play wide) in the post and develop an aggressive go-to move to take his game to another level.

Bottom Line:

Comanche has a very good upside (looks very young) and his feel for the game has improved immensely in the past six months. Once he gains strength, improves his skill and willingness to compete, his upside is quite good.

Super skinny but somehow I don't think he ends up another Mills, looks like he is very young and will put on weight relatively easily.

Based on the strenths listed he looks like an ideal addition to Tads system.

What makes you say that?

No guarantees with anyone, that's why I said looks like. With that disclaimer he is very young and still physically immature other than height. Looks like he doesn't even shave yet. His bone structure is wider than his bulk, got a lot of bony points sticking out, knobby knees.

Some kids end up staying skinny but I don't think this one will. This doesn't mean that he will ever become a 260 pound banger but eventually getting to 230 is not an unreasonable expectating of a kid at this stage of his development. Even at 220 he would be better equiped for the banging that happens in the college game.

He'd be a perfect big to add to our team. Long and lean (hoping to add weight). I hope that the '15 class is the Top 15 recruiting class we have been waiting for!

Listing Louisville and Gonzaga offers on Scout and ESPN now. Anyone read the article on rivals about Colorado and big men from his thread? It's behind the paywall so I can't see it.

Here's the part on Chance....

Sources tell me that the staff is very high on Comanche, but it's not clear where they stand right now

Pretty much says the 2015 class could be a monster and filled with top 60 players....

Names to watch more closely would be Boatwright, Pflueger and Hemsley. Boatwright trains with Olin Simplis, Dinwiddie's offseason trainer. Pflueger has described his relationship with Rodney Billups as one of the best he's formed with any coach. Hemsley has expressed high, high interest in Colorado up to this point, even going as far as calling it somewhat of a dream school for him.

Haha dream school. Amazing.

Safe to say that Arizona isn't going to slip. The Buffs are going to have to take the mantle from them. And that's just fine. We comin', Cats!

Nice to think end doesn't end up another Mills, but I think he will have a tough time putting on weight and ends up a half step above Mills.

Being he is very young, my highly speculative opinion is as valid as your highly speculative opinion.

Miller doesn't seem to be much of a player development guy. He wins with stars.

Derrick Williams, Solomon Hill and TJ McConnell would disagree.

Yeah. I'm with you, Wildcat. Mad respect for Miller as a coach. It's easy to forget that he didn't walk in the door at UA, but had to work his way up developing lesser talent.

Don't think anyone in the PAC 12 will be taking the mantle from Arizona. Millers recruiting is off the charts.

Yes, bingo for you. No sports team has ever given up "the mantle" once it's been claimed. Gravity & 0 P12 Tourney titles aside, let's crown UA "the mantle" bearers until the end of time & cease the play of P12 basketball.

If we want to be the man, we got to beat the man. UA has to be squarely in our sights this year. Them and UCLA. I'm tired of losing to those bozos.
