Mine are...

Offense: Nelson Spruce (really no other answer, but also some nice work by Fields and Frazier today)

Defense: Tedric Thompson (almost said Kenneth Crawley, this one was a coin flip for me)

Special Teams: Darragh O'Neill (one of the best games I've ever seen from a CU punter - nice work by Will Olver and Phillip Lindsay, too, but not enough to make me give them real consideration)

I think Greg Henderson would get my vote on defense.

Spruce obviously.

And O'Neill. He has some decent wheels on those booming legs.

I couldn't believe it when Darragh cut back into the field instead of running out of bounds. Allsome. Our punter was looking to take it to the house.

So you're saying Toby should head to Australia instead of Mexico for a kicker next time?

Sure, why not? Bring Tad Boyle along. They're some really talented ballplayers coming from there right now. New Zealand, too. I'll bet some of those Maoris on the All Blacks can play some football.

I am going Johnny Walker for Defensive player. He had a phenomenal game. Or is it allsome?

Special teams was Jordan Murphy.

Offense was Spruce.

Rugy and Australian football make kicking important. Remember that dude from LSU a few years back. Dude was a stud. And I never say that about a punter (Brad Long?! too lazy to google).

New Zealand? meh eh eh eh eh

Henderson had a really good game and then a really bad finish. That holding to negate Walker's INT was frustrating, then he followed it up with a facemask. Great in coverage however

The punting matchup was fantastic. Both kickers had career days.

Punting
NO YDS AVG TB -20 LG
Darragh O'Neill 9 416 46.2 1 4 59
Scott Harding 9 415 46.1 0 5 56

Amazing that Darraugh also had CU's longest run from scrimmage with that surprise 19 yard forth down conversion. Who knew O'Neill can also run with both feet?

Frazier definitely deserves some love. The dude was all over the place yesterday on both sides of the ball.

Surprised how good he looked catching the ball out of the backfield. Definitely something to build upon.

Frazier's becoming one of my favorite players.

Defenses don't know how to account for a fullback any more, so there's opportunity for the Buffs. Powell had one of his best runs of the year lining up at FB in an I-formation, too.

On offense, this was probably my highlight moment too. Love to see power football. Line up the fullback and smash that defense upfront. Sweet.

Kid has a little mojo going right now too. Good to see.

Another thing I liked to see is some of the guys we really need to shine be put in position to do so. Spruce, Henderson, even sefo.

I wish we had a few more bodies in a few more positions. We'd be a bowl team.

Frazier could end up being huge in this offense. Having a player you can put all over the field is such a huge advantage. Backfield, blocker, TE, H-Back, WR, etc. I really hope we start finding creative ways to get him more involved. I'm starting to get excited about what our offense can do. We are starting to see a few playmakers come through that will be huge in the next few years. Just gotta find ways to get them the ball.

O: Spruce. He set a single game receptions record, and now he's 3rd in the country in receptions and yards, and is first in TD receptions.
D: Walker looked good. Plus it's fun to say Johnny Walker.
ST: O'Neill. Tough punter. Normally an oxymoron, but not in this case.
Honorable Mention: Frazier. I like his toughness and versatility.
