So while perusing college football articles on rivals I run into a angry mob article at a Nebraska tailgate versus Miami:

Thought to myself wow that sounds more aggressive than what I experienced when I have been there while playing Colorado in the past. So I decide to read the comments section. First comment listed below:

No excuses, but Colorado fans have been doing this for over forty years at a much higher level. First time I've really heard this about Nebraska, No doubt Miami brought the best out of them.

So I guess the reason why Nebraska tailgater's where throwing full beverages at a bus was because we set the example? Right. Gimme a break. What a bunch of Nobody's! Just find stuff like this really annoying and I relish them coming back to Boulder. Bring it on!

They're so ridiculous. Self awareness is too much to ask of Nebraska fans, though. We already knew that.

It's a good thing those terroristic fans didn't make it into the game against Miami. They would have Colorado'd those idiot Cane players and fans.

Nebraska fans haven't changed at all. They like to think they're so classy. It's a ridiculous myth that is more fiction than fact for anyone who has had any interaction with them. The "Sal is dead. Go big red" incident really is the best example of the classless awful fans for Nebraska.

I will forever love the experience as a fan of beating #1 Nebraska 62-36 with Chris Brown run, run, running away (and Bobby Purify too). They were soooo classly too. LOL!!

As is the case for NU each and every year, they are exposed as an overrated team that doesn't belong in the top tier. We may have a long way to go back to greatness, but I still enjoy each year seeing them lose at least 1-2 big games. They're always overrated because they refuse to play good teams on the road in the non conference schedule. They get8 games at home typically. They're still a joke and as always, they love nebraska so much but they always seem to want to life here instead.

Im a CU fan from Colorado. I live in Colorado. I don't want to live anywhere else. Don't have to live elsewhere cause my state is something to be proud of.

Wow.... Been reading about this and reading the comments from readers. The part that pisses me off are the student comments that just don't get it. They don't want to man up and own this. Like somehow it's the fault of the police. Amazing. I had a blast in Lincoln yesterday tailgating and at the game. This just sucks, just absolutely sucks.

The crowd began throwing beer cans and bottles, many of which were full, at the buses

Duh. Only a retard from Nebraska (redundant, admittedly) throws full beer cans and bottles at a bus. Us "higher level" buff fans wait for grandma to get off the bus and then hit her with a "recycled beer" balloon.

Half-witted amateurs.

Nebraska fans don't even know how to get the marshmallows inside the nails. Amateurs.

I went to Lincoln for the 28-16 beat down in 1989 when we are down hard starting the 4th qtr and scored 4 td's to win. When we went out that night, we kept to ourselves, but had repeated groups of males come up to us and say 'how date you hang out here in your CU garb!'. Given that we were a group of 8+ Marine ROTC guys, they eventually walked away. Was weird they thought we shouldn't even be able to grab a beer without having to change clothes.

Wait... Were you there with Jay Bob and his buds? The guy who got busted for pissing on the "N"? One of my fondest memories.

Rode there on the overnight Amtrak train that game. Very much enjoyed the verbal beat down in the student section, only to watch Bienemy thump them in the rain 4th quarter. Next time I go there, as I likely will, obviously a bus would be an extremely poor choice.

Careful: Had I posted that I would have been neg repped to hell and back.

I remember the 89 game. Came back to slashed tires and a keyed door.

well... It wasn't actually my car. I heard about it from some friends who were at the game with us.

i remember one time in the 80s when corn shucker jack offs hit my grand mother with piss filled baloons. Right over the edge of folsom. ****ers

Watching my buddy get hauled away by the scruff of the neck while trying to put his junk away is a priceless memory. The only thing that kept him from going to jail for pissing on the N at midfield was that when he tried to open his wallet to show ID, he spilled everything on the turf and the cops saw his military reserve ID. Same guy found a way to get arrested for public intoxication in S Padre Island during spring break 4 months later, but that is a whole different story!

Yes! The cop grabbed him by the shirt, from behind, and started pushing him off the field. I was standing about 15 feet in front, far enough to not get any splash, but close enough to see the look of utter astonishment on his face when the cop grabbed him. Priceless.

losers, and bad sports fans. Work with a wannabe nub and he is a complete prototypical noob! cant stand his arrogance and lack of football knowledge. just does not understand the game or concept - just roots since they do win. FUc* nu.
